The event was kicked off this morning by Adam Dance - MP for Yeovil and South Somerset, pictured alongside event organiser Dave Cross. 🚛THE SOUTH WEST MOST BEAUTIFUL TRUCK 🚛 Our team of experienced organisers painstakingly settled on 25 trucks to be shortlisted for The South West Most Beautiful Truck category. All entries are from either Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, or Gloucestershire, making it a dedicated west country affair. The online vote is a first for a UK Truck Show and will continue year on year at future Wessex Truck Shows. Simply vote for your favourite truck and hope that it makes the top 15, these vehicles will then in turn be invited to attend the show weekend and be judged in the grand final of the Southwest's Most Beautiful Truck. On Saturday 29th March 2025, we will be holding the 3rd Wessex Truck Gathering and lights at night convoy! We hope to see you all there is 2025! What a fantastic feeling to be able to collect our WTS trailer that we sold after our last show and bring her back home to the Wessex truck show HQ. Massive thanks to Chris at C&N Commercials and to J F Pearce and Sons for the loan of a tractor unit. Not forgetting Dave Escott who gave up his Saturday morning to drive the trucks. Lots of work to do over the winter but we will get her looking tip top again.
