Each cookie was almost an inch thick!
This was filled with a milk chocolate ganache and a milk and white chocolate spread. It was then topped with Cadbury Dairy milk, Maltesers and Minstrels 😋

So, last weekend started with this show stopper.
This was for one of my longest supporting customers, and must be the 7th or 8th cake I have made for her 🥰

This was a 6 inch 3 layer chocolate fudge cake with salted caramel and chocolate buttercream filling, and covered in vanilla buttercream.
Everything was handmade, and it was the first time I have made sugar cookies. I think they turned out great! Hello Kitty was moulded out of fondant icing, as was the Japanese sign (it says the birthday girl's name.... according to Google 😂)

I think it went down well, as she thanked me personally at school the following day 🥰

The last cake from last weekend (before I start on this weekends creations 🥴)

A 6 inch 3 layer chocolate fudge cake, filled with milk chocolate ganache and covered in vanilla buttercream. The flower was made using sugar paste.
This is the second time I have made this design for this customer. Simple but pretty 😍

Another one from the weekend 🙂

The brief for this was purple, roses, lillie's and daisies (after the birthday girls granddaughters) I think I covered that! ☺️

This was a 6 inch 3 layer lemon sponge, filled with homemade lemon curd and covered with lemon buttercream.

What busy few days I've had in the kitchen 🤪

Here is a 2 tier LOL themed cake.
Bottom tier an 8 inch 2 layer chocolate orange fudge cake, filled with a liquid chocolate orange ganache centre and chocolate orange fudge buttercream.
Top tier was a 6 inch 2 layer vanilla sponge, filled with strawberry jam and covered in vanilla buttercream.
Topped with twirly lollies (an absolute must according to the birthday girl!) and an LOL doll (provided by the customer)
The name and number were made from fondant

Here is a cake I made today for a little girl's very special day.

An 8 inch 3 layer vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream filling, fully covered in a dusky pink marble effect fondant with silver veining, and finished off with a little handmade mouse holding a balloon.

I hope little Ebony and her family had a lovely day ☺️

A 6 inch 3 layer chocolate fudge cake, filled and covered with biscoff buttercream and a layer of biscoff spread and crushed biscoff biscuits.
Decorated with a white chocolate ganache drip, strawberry and caramel macarons, meringues, pink lindor chocolates and dried flowers.
I printed out the logos and set them on fondant to make the signs.
The personalised topper was purchased from Etsy

I think this is another one of my favourites!
2 x 8 inch chocolate fudge filled with chocolate fudge buttercream and milk chocolate ganache
2 x 6 inch lemon sponge filled with homemade lemon curd and lemon buttercream.
The whole cake was covered in fondant. Bottom tier Buzz lightyear theme, top tier Woody theme.
The personalised topper and characters were ordered from Etsy

Wedding cake no.1 of this week 💍 Bottom tier: 8 inch 4 layer vanilla sponge filled with homemade strawberry jam and covered with vanilla buttercream. Top tier: 6 inch 4 layer lemon sponge filled with homemade lemon curd and covered with lemon buttercream. I wasn't required to decorate this cake, as the customer wanted to do this for her Son and new Daughter in law. Eyes down!!!! Last week's cake was this Bingo inspired beauty. 6 layers of chocolate fudge deliciousness, filled with Kinder buttercream and a liquid Kinder chocolate center, and covered in vanilla buttercream. This was completely with fondant bingo balls, rice paper bingo cards and a fantastic personalised topper from By Louise 👌

The second cake of the weekend was this puuuurfect little black cat 🐈‍⬛ This was a special request from the birthday girl. She wanted a cake to look like her cat ☺️ I hope I delivered!?! An 8 inch 3 layer chocolate fudge cake filled with strawberry buttercream (made with fresh strawberries) and covered with black chocolate buttercream. This cake challenged me a little as it was originally covered with black fondant icing. I wasn't happy with the finish, so I took it all off and started again!! I'm so pleased I did, as I was much happier second time round.

Wow! What a busy weekend!!!! It started off with this show stopper! A 6 inch 3 layer vanilla sponge, filled and covered in vanilla buttercream and topped with a white chocolate ganache drip. This was finished with handmade Bluey characters, fondant rainbows, marshmallows, Frazzles and Jelly beans. The topper was specially made by the very talented Louise at By Louise This was for a very special little girls 3rd birthday 🎂🎈🎁
