35mm film scans from laura and ben’s elegant, fun filled, outrageously aesthetic weekend celebrations at earlier this summer.

some of these images have to be my favourite film work to date; the tone and grain, the candid imperfections are what makes these shots so special.

Poppy & Tiernan captured on digital & film ✨ a stunning destination wedding at in the rolling hills of the French countryside, between Bordeaux and Tolouse 🇫🇷

An intimate outdoor ceremony, a French menu outdoor wedding breakfast, glorious weather, a colour palette & florals to die for, surreal sunsets & one of the most manic dance-floor’s I’ve ever witnessed.

Honestly? This beautiful venue is a contender for my wedding, one day. Revisiting albums from past abroad weddings, amidst the prep & flight bookings for this summer, is getting me so excited for the beautiful couples we get to make films for, later this year, in Sorrento, Bordeaux, Lindos, Madrid, Lake Garda, Santorini, Ibiza & more ♥️

Alexandra and George | The Ned, London

City centre, black-tie, a bouncing dance-floor, and all-round immaculate vibes.

A day I’ll never forget, & the content is everything I’d hoped it would be.

Ali and George booked me for their mid-October wedding, back in September of 2022. George & I had worked together many times over our years in the music industry, whilst George was managing Joel Corry, and I was his tour photographer.

On our initial catch up call, Ali & George had set the scene for what they were looking for, for the big day. Timeless & elegant, a black-tie event, with a compulsory ‘must dance’ policy. Candid photography & videography was the aim of the game, & Ali & George loved our style of authentic, non-awkward posing, style. We decided to run a little closer to the film / nostalgia edit for this one; the London setting & grand venue was calling for it.

It was a pleasure to be able to capture their special day. My personal highlights have to be:

~ The walk through The Ned & surrounding locations, for some of my favourite EVER portraits.

~ The speeches. Comical & emotional, with full engagement & participation from all the guests.

~ The dance-floor, blown away by a killer set from & the unreal band, fronted by

Ali and George, thank you for trusting us to play a part in your mega day. It’s one we’ll never forget.

Rebecca & Brett, captured at the stunning 📸

All we can hope for, is that the bride and groom have a smile on their face all day. These pair were no exception. Embracing the walks in the tall grass, the champagne sprays, the sunset walk & the confetti tunnels. Honestly, hard to take a bad photograph of these two 🥲

Back on tour life again, this weekend, with the Grammy winning, Godfather of dance music, voted best DJ of all time by DJ Mag… the man the myth, the living legend 🔥

It’s been over 4 years since meeting and starting to work with this guy and we can’t thank him and the team enough for the doors they’ve opened; from New Years Eve’s in Las Vegas, to summers on tour covering 15 flights a month across Europe 🖤 what a ride!

Have you considered a ceremony and party abroad? Couples are sometimes shocked, that our fees are the same for both destination and U.K. weddings. The guest-list may be smaller, but there’s something special about an intimate wedding, with all of your friends and family in a stunning country with gorgeous weather ☀️

To hear the news of Mark Sheehan’s passing last week, hit deep in the memories of mine and my bro’s childhood. The first CD I ever bought was and I played that thing every damn day until their second album came out. “The last of the real rockstars” is how my brother summed it up when we went to see them in Dublin last year and it sums up their musical influence so perfectly. I’ve sang to their music on road trips, drank Guinness in Dublin, written songs inspired by their sound, and even cried to their music over the years. Photo taken of me and the boys in 2019, on tour in a Birmingham on one of the most epic days of my life. Probably the best band of my generation has just lost one of the good ones. RIP Mark.

Pretty sure said something funny 😆 weddings to us, aren’t just about the photos or the film. If anything, that’s only 50% of our job. The other half is the subtle gestures, well timed jokes, knowing when to lift the energy and knowing when to stand back and document emotions. I think a wedding day is a rollercoaster for the bride and groom; it’s easy to get wrapped up in nerves, planning, entertaining guests and still finding time for yourselves as a couple. I think it’s important for us as photographers / videographers / passive guests on the day, to remind them they’re on this rollercoaster and they only get one ride… make the most of every second, don’t take the day seriously and come with the energy and take in every little detail or conversation with your loved ones, these memories will be the fondest of your life so far ♥️

Our only goal is to make our couples laugh. The banging sunset shots are a bonus 😆📸 honestly though… it’s quite easy to be nervous about stepping in front of a camera, we get nervous too! That’s why we usually stay behind it 🥲 but if there’s one thing we’ve learned in our years of shooting weddings and artists, it’s how to get people relaxed and comfortable enough to be themselves around us, often forgetting we’re even there to take pictures. On occasion we will step in front of the camera though… catch our next post for some of that 😄
