I’m delighted to be hosting a workshop with York based Walter & May

If you fancy the opportunity to create your own Autumnal Dried Floral Hoop, book a slot via Walter and May’s website and join myself and Beth at her new studio in Acaster Malbis.

In the workshop you’ll be shown how to arrange dried flowers such as Pampas, Bunny tails, Dried Ruscus and Phalaris onto the hoop, creating the perfect seasonal decoration for your home.

Hi All! Well, a short break to re-charge the batteries turned into a much longer break than planned.

A lot has happened since I last posted. A couple of relaxing breaks away , a ‘not so relaxing’ arrival of a new puppy 🐶😍🤪 and most importantly spending precious time with loved ones ❤️.

Over my break I’ve made the decision to put a ‘hold’ on my daily fresh flower deliveries to be able to concentrate on bespoke work, freelancing for local and ‘not so local’ florists and another new floral opportunity that I’m very excited to be taking on.

Thank you for all the orders for collections and deliveries over the past year. I look forward to sharing my continued flower journey with you all!!

This week I’m excited to be sourcing my flowers from a local grower.

British grown flowers only travel a short amount of flower miles. This is not only beneficial to the carbon footprint it means the flowers that you receive will be almost as fresh as when they are cut from the grower’s plot.

Delivery of hand tied bouquets, jam jars and any other floral requests will be available on Wednesday-Friday this week.

Final day today of what has been a wonderful two years . Such a lovely end with a visit to .

I didn’t realise when I began the course, that 2 years later I’d leave with a mindful of knowledge, not only about floristry, but about so many aspects of life ! With midwives and nurses amongst us in the group, the conversation over flowers, tea and cake has certainly been interesting at times 😮!!!
I leave with full knowledge of the best Michelin Star Restaurants in Yorkshire and hold many stories to remember .. these will make me smile for a lifetime 😀.

Thank you to our tutor Sue for all her knowledge, support and patience.

Taking a little break this week to spend some time with these guys ❤️ (plus the middle one, if we can convince him to come out in public with us !!)

Last week brought work of the most honourable and emotional nature on my flower journey so far, along with the completion of exams and coursework, a little re-charge of the batteries is welcomed for a few days.

I’ll still be responding to all enquiries. Deliveries /collections will begin again next Monday.

This wreath from was an absolute pleasure to create...I just wish I’d made one for myself! It’ll have to go on this weekend’s ‘to do’ list! Looking forward to that extra day and fingers crossed some sunshine ☀️🤞
