13 May - THE SLOW SONGS MAKE ME SAD

Ten years ago, Chloe Bezer started writing a show. It had a clown, and songs, and something about a grand piano.

But then she had kids (which was tricky) and life got in the way. And that show never quite made it through. Now she’s a decade older, Chloe’s decided she’s going to make her comeback and finish it off. This is her chance to make a mark. To deal with the Big Stuff. To leave an inheritance for when she’s gone.

With a cheeky glint in its eye and a steely determination to talk about all the things you’re meant to keep quiet, The Slow Songs Make Me Sad blends together hilarious clowning, heartfelt storytelling and raucous cello songs.

12 May - SEEKING ARRANGEMENT

By day, Bolton lass Charlie struggles to make a difference as a UN intern. By night, she moonlights as sugar baby Tamara, trading companionship and intimacy to survive. But how can someone working to protect exploited women effectively give up her own body without some sort of moral conflict?

Seeking Arrangement follows one woman’s battle as she tries to advocate her own self-worth and ambitions while being a full-blown people pleaser.

12 May - ASTRAY

What happens when people go Astray? What sets them off? Do they ever pay the price?

Cath and Lara are Irishwomen slightly abroad, and only slightly Irish any more! The idea of being ‘astray’ amid shifting identities and alternative lives, and finding stories to help make sense of it, is one that resonates with both of them.

Directed by Samantha Hindman in conjunction with Takeover 2022, this hard-hitting piece speaks of the fight to be heard and understood, and the hope that springs from this battle.

14 May - SEANN WALSH: BACK FROM THE BED

Hello, Seann here. Did you know that the comedians have to write thier own blurb? I find that absolutely insane. What am I meant to say? I don’t know. It’s me. I do stand up.
