Huge thanks to Jonny Pulleyn for organising the excellent restoration of our memorial. The fencing timber is still to be replaced, but so far he’s made a huge difference to it’s appearance!

My grandmother was raised in Coneysthorpe and various other relations lived there, as they worked at the Castle. This photo was amongst my Dad's effects. It is taken of the Sunday School, which was very active at the turn of the 19th Century

The village also had a prize winning choir. My grandma is in the photo (2nd row from the front, far right girl sitting)

My great aunt lived at Bluebell cottage, and my Dad's cousin lived at the Old Post Office. He was the chauffeur to Sir George Howard. My great uncle worked in the Estate office, and lived in the same house I think for most of his life.

You just can't beat a late Sunday afternoon gig, especially when the landlord offers up a free and fantastic carvery lunch! If you're in the Market Rasen area and in the mood for a fine pub lunch, washed down by a stream of blues madness, then we'll see you there.

Next weekend sees us back at our local village hall, where we recorded much of our last album 'On the Radio'. Always great to play there, bring the community together, and deafen them.

A HUGE thank you to all the good people of Coneysthorpe that worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this fabulous little event. Despite the damp start we had a great turnout, a very busy kitchen and many many kids playing happily on the village green 🙂

We've been playing at Terrington Village Hall for the last couple of years and it's always been a hoot - last year a group of local mums from Alice's playgroup (we go there every Wed morning) turned up to support us, all gloriously glamourous and memorably bopping at their table! Plus it's a 6 minute drive for some of us (Sorry Ian!)

So for a great night out, please pop along if you live close to any of these venues ... keep it LIVE xx
