“Excellent effort by staff, helping to make our 600-year-old Medieval Hall sparkle. As part of their community engagement, 25 volunteers worked hard, allowing the company to continue to let the Hall and raise funds for its preservation. Well done.”

The Merchant Taylors is proud to be part of the Snooks with Books trail, a brand-new sculpture trail for York, set to guide people through York’s cobbled streets and hidden gardens in 2024. Organised by Make It York with charity partner St Leonard's Hospice, the trail will see up to 30 Snooks with Books around the city. Each sculpture will be sponsored by local businesses, who have been paired with an artist to create a bespoke design for each sculpture. The Snooks trail went live on the 29th February 2024 and will conclude in April 2024 with a final gathering of all the Snooks and highly anticipated auction event that will see proceeds supporting the project charity partner, St Leonard's Hospice.
