This is one of my favourite spots in the garden underneath the beautiful silver birch….. soon this area will have lots of daffodils starting to come through! So, Into the hedgerow is officially going to be 8 years old this year! What an 8 years it has been, but where did it all start…..
Although the business is going to be 8, It was born in my head a while before…. The idea came very randomly before going to one of my best friends hen do - it was a weekend of girlie activities in London: cocktails, afternoon tea, seeing a musical (Wicked in case you were wondering!) - it was very much going to be a classy hen do… and I wanted her to feel like a bride to be - I wanted her to feel special, so I put my thinking cap on to see what I could make for her. And the first flower crown was born!!!
It was fresh flowers, it was big, in fact it was too big for her head….. 😆 but I loved making it and then shortly after another bestie asked me to make one for her sisters baby shower, then another bestie asked me to make her 8 crowns for her wedding…..
