Sorry we have been a little quiet on here recently as there has been quite a lot going on…. The shop will be closed today from 1.00 due to a wedding set up. We then have a summer sale starting on Saturday which will run through next week with a mixture of plants and pots. Our autumn and Christmas workshops dates will also be up next week.
The shop will then be closed from Sat 21st of September @ 12.00 and we will be back open on Monday 30th of September.

I am very honoured to be involved. Well done to Newton On Ouse Parish Council for such a lovely display❤️

To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, and also the Halifax bomber crash in Back Lane, which happened on June 9th 1944, the Parish Council has commissioned a flower display. Lindsey Magill, owner of little bear & bird flower co has created the display based on our rough design. You can see them by the Memorial, the Lych Gate and on the Village Green.

We hope you enjoy the tribute to those who fought, lost their lives, and form a strong part of the history of our village.

With best wishes from all the Newton on Ouse Parish Councillors.

We’ve loved having a play with these beauties and we want to pass on the British flower week love by leaving a few of these beautiful bunches dotted round Haxby tomorrow. Thankyou to everyone that purchased from us for Valentines Day and that continue to keep supporting our little business. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you guys. Extra special thanks to the team and mostly to my bestie Cadi Hughes for pushing me through these last couple of weeks.
