The first Wills Marquee was bought for founders, Chris & Lynsey’s own wedding and we’ve been hiring out tents for weddings and parties ever since.
In 2015 we began to make marquees for ourselves using techniques passed down to us by boat builders, seamstresses, carpenters and engineers. Although we are constantly developing techniques and making product improvements, essentially every tent has a timeless quality that comes from a long heritage of bespoke tent making by hand.
All Wills Marquees share the same design principles and palette of materials. Cotton canvas, the original sailcloth, is the perfect material for light, airy interiors whilst swooping roof lines create beautifully elegant silhouettes and wooden detailing throughout helps to convey a sense of timeless luxury. Every marquee features clear walls which, on hot days can be rolled up or folded back to let in even more of the outside.
