So what are you all up to today? I'm off to York Theatre Royal to watch the panto with the family this morning and then a quiet night in with some champagne and the television. I know I'm Scottish and it's Hogmanay but I'm not the biggest fan of the busyness of being out now!
Whether you're partying hard or having a more relaxed night in, I hope you have an enjoyable time.

This is my beautiful Grandma, Nora on my Dad's side. Nora's maiden name was Maidens and the boutique's name was partly a little tribute to her. My youngest daughter is named Annora, also a little nod to her. She was originally from Redcar but lived mostly in Saltburn and then eventually settled in Edinburgh but still always had a lilt in her accent.
I remember her fondly as always smiling with beautiful dimples. She loved to bake and was an elder at St Ninian's Church in Edinburgh. She had an independent spirit and enjoyed travelling. The second picture is with my Scottish Grandad David Mitchell who I adored. They are the boutique's first love story. I do hope my Grandma is looking down at the boutique proudly. 😊🌷🐦‍⬛

I stock beautiful sample designer dresses all at less than £1000, as well as custom made dresses for under £1700 by sustainable designers in every size which are perfect if you are looking for something unique.

The boutique is now closed until my first bride of the New Year comes to see me on 3rd January 2025!
Appointments for January are starting to get busy especially for Saturdays so if you would like to come in on a certain day please do not leave it until the last minute.
As I close, I think about all of the lovely brides that I have met this year as well as the supplier friends who have been such a support to me over a difficult year. Thank you 🙏🏽. I wish you all an enjoyable Christmas however you are spending it and I look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year.
