As many married couples will tell you, your wedding day flies by!

There are only a few times during your wedding day where you can catch a moment just for you two; our favourite being the moment before you’re announced in as the newly married couple 🙌🏼

We coordinate “call to be seated” 15 minutes before you’re announced in, giving your guests chance to nip to loo and buy and drink, but also giving you a short break to take it all in.

This lovely couple chose to have photos of their family members on their wedding days, displayed by the stunning cake; a great talking point for the guests that gives more of an insight into the couples family but also a perfect personal touch.

You may notice we’ve used quite a few photos from Sarah and Will’s wedding, but they really went above and beyond with their creative personal touches and we want to share them with you!

:/// WHO DOES WHAT ON THE TABLES?

Whilst some couples choose to have a stylist like the lovely Sophie from .co pictured here, lots of our couples tend to decorate the barns themselves. (Although if it’s within budget, let the stylists take the pressure off!)

The day before the wedding you are able to arrive at 1pm and start decorating with your team of friends and family, but who else is involved?

Will, our Bar Manager - he pops all of the glasses and wine out for you.

Your caterer - they will supply all of the cutlery and crockery you need and set these out for you on the morning of the wedding.

Your florist - they might add stunning floral arrangements or bud vases to the tables.

Kirsty, our coordinator - can move things through from the ceremony barn to the reception barn during your drinks reception, ensuring you and your guests can enjoy everything for the full day!

If you’d like any linen for the tables, you can arrange delivery to Lodge Farm before your wedding, so it’s there ready for you when you arrive! Alternatively you can collect linen from , which is only 5 minutes up the road!

These photos from A + L’s wedding last August are the perfect example of making use of the different spaces and backdrops on offer at Lodge Farm Weddings.

Taken inside our ceremony barn; has captured the stunning brickwork and windows behind them and taken a really creative photo.

We do also have stunning views outside, but it’s lovely to have such beautiful alternatives when the North Yorkshire weather can be a bit hit and miss!

Our skilled bartenders are on hand throughout your wedding day, to shake up the perfect cocktail or pull the perfect pint.

During the Jan/Feb of the year you get married, booked couples are invited to a bar tasting evening where they can try the wines, chat to our bar manager Will about the bar offering and also a chance to chat to Jen, Rob and Kirsty about your wedding!
