Fulford FC and Fulford Community Sports Club are to run a small Beer & Music Festival on Fulford Parish Field Saturday 8th July 2017. It will specialise in local beers & ciders from breweries within 25 miles of Fulford.

Here's a few highlights from Saturday, some great beers, great music and dodgy dancing!
In total we have raised over £3,000 for the Sports Club & Tennis Club to help us improve their facilities.
A Massive thank you to all sponsors without whom we could not have afforded to do this - Yorkshire Joinery & Developments, Persimmon Homes, Press Green York, The Lighthorseman, Savannah Travel, Equinox Financial Planning Ltd, Poppies Cleaning Service, York Tutors, The York Opticians, Gate & Bar Ltd., The Blue Bell, and Jonny Walton.
Thanks also to the bands Skintageous, Tri-Starrs and Finley Barrett Carter and to the volunteers behind the bars and BBQ who gave their time for free.
Finally a big thank you to everyone who came for making it such a memorable event. I am sorry we ran out of Lagers and ciders so quickly but who would have guessed two weeks ago how nice the weather would turn out to be.

The Online Tickets shop has now shut but we still have about 100 tickets left for sale on the door (on a first come basis).

The Fulford Beer & Music Festival

The Fulford Beer & Music Festival is a biennial community event hosted by Fulford Football Club and Fulford Community Sports Club at the Fulfordgate Sports Pavilion (next to Fulford School). Our main objectives are to raise money to develop & improve local sports facilities and to raise the profile of the local sports clubs within the community. Our licensed bar sells around a dozen different local real ales, plus a couple of local craft keg lagers and 4 or 5 local traditional & fruit ciders. There will also be a separate Prosecco Bar and a food stall serving burgers, hot dogs, snacks & soft drinks. The Ales and Ciders will be Good Quality, Craft-Made, Yorkshire Produce, sourced using the general principles of CamRA’s LocAle policy, with the majority coming from within 25 miles of Fulford.

Over the first three festivals we have raised more than £6,000 to support local sports. Projects funded have included replacing the pavilion water supply, the new tables & chairs in the sports pavilion clubhouse and providing matched funding to access FA grants to purchase new 9 aside goalposts and to improve the Parish Field playing surface. We also donated £500 to Fulford School to help fund the Defibrillator on the School Gates

We are always looking for people or businesses who would sponsor a barrel; local bands who would be willing to perform for free and volunteers to help plan, organise & stage the event!
