Two Jays catering can cater for all types of events from small intimate do's to larger functions. We have experience in catering for weddings, christenings, funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, working lunches & children’s party’s as well as catering for hen & stag do's, and providing meals for guests at local holiday cottages & glamping sites. We have also done on event catering for motorsport eve

nts. We have a large array of menus from BBQ’s, hog roast, hot & cold buffets, afternoon teas, working lunches, pie & pea suppers, breakfasts, themed menus, 3 course meals & wedding food of all types. We have a mobile kitchen that we are also able to take to events to serve food from. We are flexible with what we can do and are happy to do bespoke menus to suit all needs and budgets. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers and good quality produce to give you a great catering experience!

Saturday night we did our first 3 course meal of the year for a hen party at a holiday house in Scarborough. They had starters of tomato and mozzarella stack with balsamic glaze and vegetable gyoza with teriyaki sauce, everyone except for the vegetarian had chicken wrapped in prosciutto with asparagus sauce, and the vegetarian had Cajun sweet potato roulade with tomato sauce with trillionairs tart and honeycomb cheesecake for dessert

At Christmas we gave a voucher to The Do Drop Inn for their raffle, today we delivered the prize of a bespoke grazing platter to the lady who won it. She's having a friend round this evening so they are going to enjoy it together 😊

Wow that went quickly!
10 years ago today I started trading as Two Jays Catering and what a journey it has been.
My work has taken me to some amazing places over the last 10 years, be it the stunning Yorkshire dales with the burger van, 5 Star holiday cottages to cook for hen parties, to Glasgow for the European and world championship cycling, the Isle of Wight and Norfolk with the Jumbulance as a volunteer chef or to the coast of Sardinia working for M-Sport world rally team, as well as many more places in-between.
This last year I took on a new challenge, catering at York Motor Yacht club, and I will be back there this year too. I wasn't sure how it would work with my other jobs, but it has fitted in perfectly and I've made some wonderful friends there too.
2024 was my busiest year to date and it's not looking like I'm going to be that much quieter this year! A big shout out to all of my customers, clients friends and followers for keeping me busy these last 10 years 😁
I couldn't do all of this without my amazing staff that have been there to help and support me over the 10 years, thank you I couldn't do it without you all 🥰
I'd also like to thank my Mum who helps me so much 🤗

It's never too late to have Christmas!🎄
On Saturday night we served a Christmas carvery at Dringhouses Scouts for 35 people for their Post Christmas get together. I didn't get a chance to get any pictures, but we served turkey and pork, pig's in blankets, stuffing, mash and roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, broccoli and peas, carrots and gravy. With Christmas pudding and brandy sauce, trillionairs tart and lemon roulade for dessert
