As a magician I love being fooled and the art of fooling. The other day I saw this in the centre. At first, I thought it was real, but the more you looked you realised something isn't right..it's a model.

The artist came to speak about how he uses subtle things to make it seem more realistic, such as having the eyes closed, the trainer peeking out, the bags behind etc..

As a magician, I do love how little additions can add to aid the illusion.

My master's dissertation also touched upon waxworks and the meaning they give..

New season, new beginnings!

So, it's September, the kids are back to school, and Autumn is soon upon us. Where has the time gone?

Hopefully, it's the time to ring a fresh start and new opportunities after having too much time off in the Summer for health reasons, plus the setback of having my Facebook accounts hacked and suspended (therefore starting again from zero.. please follow and like my business page again!!)

This season I want to finally work on a new show, expand my presence at wedding fairs, and actively seek partnerships with more venues (I'm looking at you, restaurants and hotels!)

I have the idea of also diversifying my wedding magic - maybe find a niche ( I'm thinking alternative.. why not play to what I like!?)

So let's crack this!

Clayfield Farm has been a restoration building project, over the last 8 years, for owner Wayne.

Hope you all enjoyed the sun today. Today I took a boat tour on thr Norfolk Broads. Very nice. Tomorrow I'll be on my way back up north to York!

Friday I'll be at The Hole In Wand Blackpool.. from East coast to North West coast within 2 days! I'll need another holiday!

Look forward to getting back practising and hopefully start creating some type of show... or at least start on some bizarre stuff!

He also has an interest in the bizarre and strange style of magic, performing in a horror stage outfit when he first started in magic...
