Our mixing session this week is being held in SLB 202 & 203 where we’ll be spinning some tunes and showing you how to play your music on the decks. Make sure to bring some tunes, a USB and a laptop and we can show you the rest!

We’re holding our mixing session this Thursday in J/P
003 & 004. Bring a usb and some friends along because we’re spinning the night away! Alongside our mixing session we’ll also be showing you how to get music and put it on a usb stick to plug into our decks and dj with so make sure to come down!

BreakzDJs is happy to announce our freshers / give it a go session is this Thursday in SLB 202 & 203. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a master at mixing we’d love to see you come down!

We’re already hitting the ground running this year with a few events already planned and much more in the works so if you’re interested don’t be afraid to get involved!

You don’t need a membership or a usb to come along and have a go. But if you’ve got a usb and want to spin some tunes make sure it’s formatted to fat32 and exported through rekordbox.

Summer Term 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙯DJs! And we’re back with a serous amount of Helvetica. But that’s not all, we’re continuing our open decks mixing sessions in J/P/004 and J/P/005 at James College between 18:00 - 21:00 every Thursday.

Regardless of if you have never done a mix before or if you have 27 USBs for each sub-catigory of Neurofunk, our open decks sessions have multiple setups for anyone at any level wanting a mix!

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Our first beginner workshop is in 9 days!

If you're a new DJ, please make sure you read the second slide of this post, unless you want to be using someone else's music!

Though this session is aimed at teaching new DJs how to DJ, experienced DJs are more than welcome to come along to help pass on their expertise, too!

We're hosting our elections on Tuesday 24th May at 7pm via Zoom!

All members will receive a link via email to join the meeting, short before it starts.

There are 3 roles on offer, which we must fill to continue being a society next year:
1.) President/Chair: Oversees organisation of events and social initiatives.
2.) Treasurer: Manages society property, equipment, and finances. Notably, this includes organising DJ deck rentals.
3.) Secretary: Manages communications with members of the society.

Breakz is back! Our first event in over a year will be at Bluebox on Thursday 3rd February. Tickets start at £3 and will be available from Monday so watch this space.
This is a student-only event and is a safe space for all! No bad vibes.
