Working at many venues around the UK, I can turn my secateurs to most spaces from country house hotels and marquees to quirky industrial barns. Themed weddings don't need to feel tacky and cheesy!

One of my previous couples had a wedding that really celebrated Christmas, and we made use of classic reds and hunter greens and combined with the deliciously deep textures of a traditional pine forest. There was nothing cheesy or gaudy about it, just pure holiday joy and elegantly designed floral artistry.

Today we are celebrating 6 years of marriage!

I can't believe it's actually been that long. I still remember the intensity of all the feelings I felt that day from nerves, excitement, love and pure joy. Looking back through our photos today, these are some of the moments that stand out.

The first image is our first moment together on our own after we got married. I am so thankful of this moment it gave us a chance to breathe, to talk and just take it all in. A little pause.

Our day was filled with lots of laughter, joy and scattered with lots of sentimental moments. I am a sentimental person 🤍. I will do another post about these.

At times I was overwhelmed by the day, and now wish I had factored in more time between important moments to be able to decompress and calm so I could take in these moments more. So my advice is to really think about your timeline and not cram it too full. Speak to the person helping you plan and let them know what's important to you. Not everyone is the same.

Here is to another year of doing life with you . Thank you for putting up with my constant need to pursue my crazy ideas 🤍. And heres to another year of helping others create special moments they will cherish forever 🤍

It's official, it's the first of November which means Halloween is over and Christmas planning is fully in motion.

Before becoming a florist Christmas planning would start in December, I'm very much a last minute person living in the season I'm in.

But planning workshops takes well planning so here we are I'm now a Christmas planner in September 🙈.

Christmas wreath workshops are live and filling fast. are now almost half full are also filling up and my home studio sessions only have a couple of spaces left.

Sharing a few of my favorite details from this magical .ited_workshop workshop, where every element aligned in perfect harmony.

The vibe was pure organic, abundant beauty—exactly my style, brought to life with so much heart.

One of the most touching features was the live poet, the amazing capturing unique moments in words and crafting poems on the spot 🤍. What a gorgeous addition to your wedding. Jen had everyone in happy tears reading their poem.

The sentimental touches, combined with each supplier’s seamless contributions, created a setting that felt like a dream. If I were to marry all over again, this would be the vision.

Now I am inspired by lots of things! You, nature, art, architecture, colour, seasons....

But other things I now consider as an experienced floral designer is the flow of your wedding day, the type of ceremony you are having, how your photographer and videographer will capture your day (think framing/space) and how your designs will influence the other suppliers as part of your day.

To me it's so much more than just flowers. Bespoke is the only way I can work because my joy and inspiration comes from so many different areas and influences. It's a journey not a one point contact for a quote. It's something we build over time.

I’ve always been surrounded by the beauty of architecture, thanks to my parents, who were both architects. Growing up, I was taken to countless buildings, learning to appreciate not only their aesthetic beauty but also the technical design that brought them to life. Watching my parents sketch out plans, attending surveys, and witnessing the creation of these incredible spaces sparked a love for architecture that has stayed with me.

This is why designing wedding flowers in spaces like this breathtaking church feels so meaningful. It’s where two of my passions converge—my deep love for architectural beauty and the creative joy I find in floral design. Churches, regardless of one’s personal beliefs, hold an undeniable serenity. I’m not religious myself, but I’ve always felt a sense of peace in these sacred spaces. There’s something awe-inspiring about their towering ceilings, intricate details, and the history they hold within their walls.

To be able to create something beautiful in a space like this, to work with flowers and enhance the natural beauty of such a magnificent setting, is a true honor. It’s moments like these that remind me of why I love what I do.

More than Just Flowers - A Story of Love & Honour!

One of the greatest honours for me is being part of the beautiful, heartfelt stories woven into your wedding day. It’s so much more than delivering flowers; it’s helping you create meaningful connections to the ones you love, even those who can’t physically be there.

Chantels story will be forever etched into my memory. I helped chantel honour her father, who had sadly passed away and was unable to walk her down the aisle. In her bouquet, we included a single white rose stem, loosely tied with silk ribbon, representing her dad. As she reached the altar, she gently removed the rose and placed it down in his honour. Lighting candles that remain part of each element of her wedding ceremony to Alex. 💕

We also added her mum’s wedding rings to the bouquet, creating a deeply personal and tear-filled handover on the morning of her wedding.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I feel so privileged to be a part of your journey. Your stories stay with me. Thank you for trusting me to bring your love stories to life through flowers.

What am I most proud of?

Honestly? It’s having the resilience to keep going, even when life throws some serious curveballs.

We’ve all had those years, right? This one has been one of my toughest health-wise: a challenging pregnancy, postpartum infections, the looming possibility of Lyme disease, and then a bout of glandular fever, just to name a few. And all this while trying to run a business and raise two small children!

But here's the thing—sometimes, the toughest lessons are hidden in the hardest moments.

I’ve always been one to push, to hustle, to constantly strive for more. But this year, I’ve learned the value of pausing. For those of you who know me, that’s not my natural state of being! I love achieving and pushing my business to new heights. But I’ve realised that it’s just as important to embrace the plateaus, the pauses, and even the setbacks. To be present in the now and trust that everything will come together in its own time.

Thankfully, I’m feeling like myself again (fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞) and coming out the other side of this storm. But I don’t want to lose the precious time I have with my husband and kids. Running a business makes it hard to switch off, but I’ve now put systems and processes in place to help me do just that. And the best part? It means I’m refreshed and ready to pour all my energy into making each of my clients' big days extra special.
