Drawing influences from Starset, 30 seconds to mars, Within Temptation , Amaranthe and Bad Omens, Aaetheria has developed their own unique sound while crediting artists who have greatly inspired them.

Grechka occupies a unique niche on the Russian indie scene. The performer skillfully combines in her work delicate vocals with lyrical compositions filled with depth and frankness.

With each new release, the lyrical heroes of the compositions comprehend reality from new angles, grow up and transform, reflecting the inner changes of Buckwheat herself. This is especially felt in the latest release «Russian Longing», released in March 2024. In the new album Buckwheat’s voice sounds even louder and more confident than before, because, as the artist herself is convinced, «the more we sing, the more everyone will recognize». Together with the singles «I want to» and «my dream has come true» the whole puzzle was formed: «Russian Longing» is about complicated events that happen both in a big country and in one small family. Grechka touches on topics that concern not only her, but also a significant part of the young thinking generation. If in the previous release «Songs For Girls» the main leitmotif was love, then here the analysis of relations with parents and, as it should be for a punk singer, protest against the darkness that has seized power over people’s minds come to the fore.

returns with a new concert program “Peace to Your Home” (Mir Vashemu Domu)!

The track “Peace to Your Home” was released in June 2023. The track is based on a sample from Vladimir Vysotsky’s song “I’m a Yak- fighter aircraft”, with video footage depicting the war in Ukraine interspersed with AI-processed images of Russian politicians and military personnel. The straightforward imagery is intended to convey the main message “War Must Be Stopped” to every viewer. The video was removed from YouTube after complaints from numerous bots, and the artist was subjected to extremism checks and army discrediting.

LIGALIZE is not just a cult hip-hop performer, but a person who has forever left his mark on the annals of Russian rap. He was at the forefront of such a phenomenon as Russian rap, the first person to make this genre popular. His songs are accessible and understandable to everyone, regardless of age and generation. His debut album “XL”, released in 2006, went platinum and remains the best-selling Russian hip-hop album to this day. LIGALIZE is one of the few artists recognized on both fronts of popular music. While remaining a hip-hop performer, he manages to expand the genre’s boundaries: rock provocation, social protest, mainstream, and underground.

Both new compositions and hits from the past 25 years will be performed at concerts in Batumi and Tbilisi. Let’s rock the club!

В любой непонятной ситуации следует обращаться к научным исследованиям. Окажется, что многие другие люди уже потанцевали по тем же граблям и пришли к каким-нибудь выводам. Касается это и вопроса о том, подобает ли разумному человеку ввязываться в размножение, или лучше все-таки жить для себя.
Сколько у нас времени на принятие решения, и каким образом можно выиграть дополнительное время? Насколько часто те, кто все-таки завел или все-таки не завел детей, жалеют о своем выборе, когда менять его уже поздно? Всегда ли дети губительны для карьеры, или только при определенных условиях? Велик ли ущерб для планеты, важен ли выигрыш для общества? Насколько плохо (или хорошо) рождение ребенка отражается на здоровье? И как соотносится с реальностью утверждение о том, что дети — это счастье?
У науки и ее популяризаторов нет ответа на вопрос, надо ли заводить ребенка именно лично вам. Но дополнительную информацию к размышлению мы предоставить можем, так что берите партнера и приходите послушать.

Social anthropologist Alexandra Arkhipova will give a lecture on how women’s social roles have evolved over the last 10,000 years. Did women in hunter-gatherer tribes always babysit while men hunted? (No, there were also professional women hunters)? Were there families that consisted of only women? (Yes, although rarely). Were there actually women warriors, the so-called Amazons? Yes, but not at all in ancient Greece, but more recently in West Africa. Were there cases in the history of human societies where women took teenage men as wives (and there were). Are there tribes where men are meek and women are aggressive? Yes, anthropologists have described such cases in Oceania.

Alexandra Arkhipova is a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Social Anthropology of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Sociales (Paris, France).

The Union of Soviet Writers is holding a meeting on the work of Alexander Galich. Valentin Kataev, Agniya Barto, Alexey Arbuzov, and other writers are in attendance. The creative output of Galich is under attack: as is stated, in his newest works he has turned “in the wrong direction’. The meeting ultimately concluded with the decision to expel Galich from the Union. This is well known.

Yet the audience can restore justice to the past and sway the participants of the meeting from making the fatal decision..

After the performance ends, a concert can be held in accordance with the wishes of the audience members.

Katerina Gordeeva will perform in Tbilisi and Yerevan to present her new book.
On April, 25th in Tbilisi, Salaridze Event Hall, and on April, 28th at the National Puppet Theater in Yerevan, famous Russian journalist and writer Katerina Gordeeva will make a presentations of her new book called ‘Take My Grief Away’ with public talks to the audience and readers.
Katerina Gordeeva is primarily known for her YouTube project ‘Skazhi Gordeevoi’ (‘Tell Gordeeva’) where she interviews various thinkers and other famous people. Since the invasion of Ukraine all of her episodes are dedicated to finding answers to the questions of how this could have happened and how to live with it.
She also produced a documentary film called ‘Man and War’ about the stories of Ukrainian refugees who were deprived of family and home by the invasion, so they found themselves scattered on both sides of the war: in Taganrog, Warsaw, Leipzig, Pskov, Berlin and other cities. The movie did not include hundreds of interviews that Katerina Gordeeva took.
The work on her book started from these interviews.
In the making process the number of interviews were only increasing – because the war still does not end.
The book ‘Take My Grief Away’ was released in December 2023 by the ‘Meduza’ publishing house.
For obvious reasons, it is not being sold in the Russian Federation.
In Tbilisi and Yerevan the book will be available for purchase in the halls where the presentations will be held.

Svetlana Alexievich, the Nobel Prize winner in literature, said about the publication: “One day history will be studied by Katya Gordeeva’s books. Not the history of war, but the history of a man at war. No one was ready for this experience. And not everyone who would have taken on this work would have had the soul, maybe even the desperation of the soul, to hear and write it all down, as Katya was given to do.”
