What were the results of the last two conferences❓

Starting with our first event, Degamefi 2022, we have consistently brought together key players from the GameFi and DeFi sectors, promoting a unitive chain of unique events.

Degamefi 2022 laid the foundation for our mission, connecting investors, creators, developers, and industry-involved individuals worldwide, which was further expanded at Degamefi 2023 through successful partnerships with Tether, Polygon, and Mastercard.

Notably, during these conferences, partner companies present in the expo area successfully found potential investors and international partners, highlighting the event’s role in fostering productive connections. These collaborations have not only enhanced our reputation as the largest WEB3 conference in the CIS region but also attracted significant partnerships for Degamefi 2024. Additionally, the Degamefi Club has played a crucial role in connecting web3 startups with venture capitalists and angel investors, promoting knowledge sharing and collaborative projects within our community.

Why are we holding a conference in Georgia?

We’ve chosen Georgia for our conference to tap into the growing crypto market in the Caucasus region, where development costs are lower, and blockchain and crypto adoption rates are high. The topic of regulation took center stage in many DeGameFi conversations, both on and off the stage. There was a general consensus: regulations are crucial to mass adoption — but they should be enabling, not forbidding. “Many people in Georgia love crypto, and have no objection to seeing some kind of regulation. What they want is to be regulated in the right way, so it's not crushing the innovation,” said Cal Evans, an award-winning digital asset lawyer and the author of the 'Little Book of Crypto.'

Connections that were made during the first day started to warm up. The second day started with the Investors Roundtable Meetup by VNTR, where our VIP guests, speakers and active investors gathered to discuss investment ecosystem and growth opportunities.

Themes discussed on the main stage included Digital Asset Integration, Role of self-leadership and the Executive mindset and so on.

The real star of the day was a start-up competition. From 7 finalist projects, Miomi came out as a winner. Congratulations to the team once again.
