The gorgeous cast of Cratchit, running here at the #PRCPA from the 13th - 21st of December, have taken time out of their rehearsals to record some thoughts on this production. They are clearly having lots of fun pulling together the show, and it promises to be a lovely, festive ghost story that follows in the footsteps of the original Christmas Carol.
Harry Giubileo is playing Bob Cratchit, and the show explores more of this well-known character. Bod is truly the heart of this piece, and his struggles reflect many contemporary issues. Ruby Tapp returns to the stage with #tinwhistleproductions playing various members of the Cratchit household as well as the miserly old Master himself, "Ba Humbug". Jacob Backhouse will be taking to the stage for the first time here in #guernsey, playing various other roles (his Michael Cane impression is not to be missed). Both share their stunning singing voices to add even more seasonal cheer.
But apparently, the true stars of the show are a crutch and a scarf .... best book tickets at www.guernseytickets.gg to find out how!
Our Artistic Director, Oliver Bailey-Davies is in #Alderney this weekend with Alderney Showtime running their Youth Theatre Summer school. He is joined by Curriculum Lead Kate Kellaway from The Guernsey Institute Performing Arts team and Alumni Ruby Tapp. The students are working so hard and have learnt so much in a short period of time. They will present their version of Where The Wild Things Are to friends and family tomorrow afternoon. Here is a sneak peek of their “Wild Rumpus”! #tgilife
We have decided to extend our Early Bird ticket price for all tickets to our show. With the cost of living crisis it’s important to us that we make #theatre accessible for all and we want as many people to enjoy our beautiful production. Jack Frost, staring @rubytapp @lottieewin and @sxmgarioch is a lovely #Christmas show, full of songs and wonder. With double matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday as well as a Friday night performance this show is the 5th Festive production by Tin Whistle. Make sure you book your tickets and come find out if Holly can save Christmas and if Jack Frost will find his magic in time.

Leopoldstadt is an epic family drama telling the story of an Austrian-Jewish families experience over 50 years from the turn of the century to World War II. Written by Britain’s greatest living playwright Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare In Love, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) inspired by his own family history.
