WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WASHED YOUR BED SHEET ?
How many people are really conscious of how frequent they should change their bed sheets? A peek into some people's life would show you that some people use their bed sheet for weeks and some even months before washing it. Some may have done this from secondary through tertiary so its become part of their lives.
If only we could see bacteria, what they look like and their activities on the things we use.
Some sleep without having a bath at night even after a sweaty day, some sweat while sleeping at night and some eat while in bed leaving food crumbs and particles on the bed, and you should know that they will decompose or better still attract bed bugs.
If you fall within the aforementioned and you still use your bed sheet for two to three weeks or more before washing, then you should be wary of bacterial infection.
Health experts suggest that even though sleeping in dirty bedsheets might not really make you sick, they could cause skin infections to your body.
Moments after spreading your bed sheets for use, it begins to accumulate bacteria, sweat, makeup, dust, dead skin cells, skin oil, oil from body cream, fungi and lots more. Now imagine the accumulation process happening for months without you changing the bed sheet.
This brings me back to the question; When was the last time you washed your bed sheet?
If washing of your bed sheet has become a burden or a habit that you find it difficult to stop, please follow these simple steps and am sure gradually you will enjoy changing your bed sheet as often as possible.
* please make sure to change your bed sheet as least every week even if you are not washing them.
* if you are too busy to wash them, you can hire the services of someone to be washing them for you.
* You can also send them to the laundry to be washed for you.
I do hope that you will consider these simple steps and adhere to keeping your bed clean and neat all the time.
