PUBLIC APPEAL

Hi everyone, we have reported the theft to the police but thought we should try the power of social media as well. The stolen item was a Japanese samurai armour. I know it is of no value for the person who stole it but it means so much to us.

Dear fellow parents,

If your kids are in between schools, if your children face any challenges in learning, ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, if (like me) you would like your children to be in a school that offers International Education but with affordable and flexible payment options, then please take a moment to read this introduction.

My kids used to go to a normal Ghanaian School, it was supposed to be one of the best ones around but there were so many inappropriate moments that we were constantly fighting the headmistress, one question wrong meant one cane lashing, two for two questions wrong, so on and so forth. One of the male teachers at the school told my 12 year old daughter that he is going to marry her. It was a nightmare.

When Covid arrived and schools closed down, we were actually quite happy to start home schooling, this was when we met Dr. Candace Marie , who supplied us with home schooling materials. She later became the Principal for Dominion Christian Academy. She managed to secure a full scholarship for our children based purely on their academic performance. My kids are not Christian and Dominion Christian Academy is a Christian School but what makes them different is that they are an all inclusive school, where all children of all backgrounds ARE actually welcome. Each child is accepted as they are, even if they may have temperamental differences, struggle with certain subjects, the teachers are well experienced and well versed to handle these differences.

Can you think of any school or any religious institution who acheived this feat in Ghana? I know a lot of schools who are so quick to expell a school as soon as the parents delay, even slightly.
