Here are some of the amazing team that helped out at our Tis the Season event. Santa says they all made the nice list! 🥰🎅🤶🎄From the Gardens we have Carlos, Chloe, Eli, Elizabeth & Tony (with Andrew and Teresa also helping but not pictured) and helpers Anthony and Kylie. From the wonderful MBS Wellbeing Gibraltar we have Natalia, Sam, Sean and Sharon who told stories, sang and danced and made sure all the kids had a fabulous time! Tender for allocation of premises at the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, The Alameda
Tenders are invited for the allocation of the above-mentioned premises at the Open Air Theatre in the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens. Wildlife Gibraltar Ltd is seeking proposals for use of the premises as a cafeteria and bar for the gardens , including catering for events.
The allocation will be on the basis of a contract and subject to a monthly fee. The premises will be open for viewing by appointment only.
Tenders must be submitted not later than 3pm on Thursday 12th January 2023.

Wildlife Gibraltar Ltd does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender and may accept any tender in part.

Santa's Grotto is coming to the Alameda Gardens for the very first time! “SANTA! Oh my God! Santa, here?! I know him! I know him!” - Elf 😂🥰🎅🎄🎁

The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens are hosting a ‘Tis the Season’ event in the build-up to Christmas.

The event will take place in the beautiful Alameda Open Air Theatre, on Saturday December 3rd from 12pm-2:30pm and 2:45pm-5:15pm, weather permitting. If it rains, it will be held on Saturday December 10th instead.

This promises to be a fun and festive, family-oriented day out where children will meet Santa and receive a gift, be taken on a storytelling journey and get creative with Christmas-themed arts and crafts, as well as a family dance workshop with a Yuletide spin.

There will also be carol singing with members of the Gibraltar Youth Club Choir and everyone is encouraged to sing-a-long!

Tickets are available from Buytickets.gi and are £11 per child. Parents/guardians go free! All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Food and refreshments will be available to buy on the day, including mulled wine and mince pies, hot chocolate and cookies, burgers, hot dogs and drinks.

Do you have time to spare, enjoy being outdoors surrounded by nature and want to make a difference? Come volunteer at the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens! It’s also a great way to meet like minded people. No gardening experience required. Just a willingness to learn and have fun!

The volunteer team meets every Thursday 9:30am at the office area (opp Red Sands House).
