EXEPT BIO:
Based in: Rome, Italy EXEPT are unique in the realm of deep and precisely crafted drum and bass, with their clear and hard-edged, yet understated sound cutting them as a distinct creative force. Erupting seemingly out of nowhere with releases on Noisia's INVISIBLE imprint and then a sequence of exquisitely crafted releases on MethLab Recordings, Pseudoscience, Dispatch, Vision, Surveillance, Overview and Delta9 . Exept quickly established themselves as a poignant new entity with a refined and considered ethic. With a background in scratch turntablism and hip hop production, the Italian duo combined forces, resulting in an impressive fusion of their extensive production skills and sharp sonic aesthetics.

Το Σάββατο 18 Νοεμβρίου, το ATH DNB UNITY επιστρέφει, με καλεσμένους τους EXEPT από την Ιταλία σε ένα Live Drum&Bass Session!

Οι Exept, καταξιωμένοι καλλιτέχνες από τη Ρώμη, παρουσίασαν πρόσφατα το ντεμπούτο τους άλμπουμ με τίτλο "Black Soul" τον Ιούνιο του 2023 μέσω της δισκογραφικής Delta 9. Το άλμπουμ αποτελεί ένα εκρηκτικό μείγμα τεχνικού neurofunk, deep και techstep, κερδίζοντας τις εντυπώσεις του κοινού και των ravers. Οι Exept έχουν κυκλοφορήσει μουσική σε κορυφαίες εταιρείες όπως οι Blackout, Invisible, Vision και Dispatch, ενώ το live τους υπόσχεται μια μοναδική εμπειρία.

Στη βραδιά θα παρευρίσκονται επίσης και οι τοπικοί καλλιτέχνες της Drum&Bass σκηνής. Οι Ath Dnb Unity residents Insom και Breacz θα συμπληρώσουν την εντυπωσιακή σύνθεση, ενώ στο line-up περιλαμβάνονται επίσης ο Infinull της Overclockin Records, ο Unified Method, καθώς και οι Nuskope και Terminal και ο Deepfer, προσφέροντας ένα ευρύ φάσμα ηλεκτρονικών ήχων που θα καλύψουν κάθε γούστο.

Τα οπτικά εφέ από τον ταλαντούχο visual artist Iraisynn Attinom, θα προσθέσουν ένα εντυπωσιακό στοιχείο στο ήδη ενδιαφέρον πρόγραμμα της βραδιάς.

Το ATH DNB UNITY υπόσχεται μια νύχτα γεμάτη μουσική, χορό και ενέργεια που θα μείνει αξέχαστη!

Disphonia are a creative duo comprised of Kostas Nomikos & George Roubinis,two individuals who share an affinity for intricate and memorable Drum and Bass.
Disphonia are as well known for their impeccable DJ sets as they are for their attention to detail and the pure energy found in their productions.
For this reason they stand out as one of the most consistent and uniquely powerful forces in Drum and bass.
Their strong production values and uncompromising aesthetics are what have earned them releases on the scene’s most prolific labels such as Blackout, Eatbrain, Red Light, Cause4Concern and Methlab.
Their unorthodox productions are known for blurring the lines between new & old school, for combining simplicity with complexity so as to capture the audience’s attention.
The last couple of years have been no exception, with mammoth tracks like “Cant Hold Back” & “Plump” on Blackout and Tailwind on Eatbrain, the duo are bringing their boldest sounds to the forefront of the scene.
Thus far 2022 has been about reinvention with the acid techno homage of Snapshot and plenty more interesting sonic angles to the Disphonia sound
Disphonia are looking forward to setting the bar higher as they navigate from deeper musical forms to envelope-pushing dancefloor mayhem.
With their remixes for artists such as IHR, TR.Tactics and their collaborations with Optiv & CZA, IHR, Smooth, L33, Mc Coppa and with a plethora of other names in the pipeline, Disphonia are now a staple on the Drum and bass circuit.
