The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theatre 🏛 built in 161 AD and is located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis inaugurated the new elevator for people with disabilities who will finally have access to the Acropolis of Athens.

Philippi, a UNESCO listed monument, was an ancient Greek city. It was first named Crenides and was founded c. 360 BCE by settlers from nearby Thasos.
When Krenides was attacked by Thracians the inhabitants looked to Philip II of Macedon for protection, who did protect them and renamed it to Philippi.

Philippi is also well-known as the first Christian church in Europe was founded at the town, built on top of a tomb of a Hellenistic hero. Philippi becomes an important early Christian centre following a visit to the city by Paul the Apostle in 49 CE.
