VACANCY – EMSEA VICE-PRESIDENT

(Closing date for applications 09.00 CET, 2nd April 2023)

The European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA) are seeking a new Vice-President. The position of Vice-President sits within EMSEA’s Legal Board structure and they will agree, on taking up the role, to act as ‘President-in-waiting’ pending the current President standing down in March 2024.

This is a voluntary position.

We are looking for a person with proven experience and skills in governance and management, ideally within the marine, education or community engagement sectors. EMSEA is a well known entity within Europe, so we are looking for somebody who is an excellent communicator, who enjoys working alongside others in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. All legal board members need to stand for re-election and be voted on by the membership at the annual General Assembly on a 2 yearly cycle.
