Paying tribute to all the women that inspired us through the years to continue to fight for women’s rights. Happy Women's Day to all the incredible women! Production Designers from 36 countries - 6 continents gathered recently in the island of Spetses for the first ever Production Designers Gathering which took place at Cine Titania and at the Anargyreios & Korgialeneios School of Spetses. In a spirit of camaraderie and bonding, the 250 participants sailed off to this experience from the Zea Marina in the afternoon of October 21st and set their foot on Spetses for 3 days full of presentations, panel discussions, practical workshops, yoga sessions and open-air sketching activities in the charming island of Spetses. Loads of energy, countless ideas and big smiles were the main ingredients of an event which was a major success and offered an amazing experience to all who participated as well as to Erasmus S.A., the professional Conference Organizer of the event. The high levels of stress on the eve of the Gathering were replaced with the love and appreciation shown to Erasmus team members by the participants who were enthusiastic with their experience and the excellent organization. It was a different “journey” for Erasmus S.A., which started on January 27th, 2022, when we first met Inbal Weinberg (co-founder of the Production Designers Gathering and Production Designer of The Lost Daughter which was filmed in Spetses) and was completed on October 27th at the Athens International Airport with a warm goodbye hug. Thank you @ Inbal Weinberg and thank you to all participants.
