Our harvest has just come to an end, and this year’s oil is exceptional in flavour and quality, with an acidity lower than 0.3 — a proud proof that our regenerative practices sustain a truly healthy ecosystem in our grove.

But nature has her own rhythm, and we honour it. Our older trees give generously every second year, which means this season brought lower yields than usual. So make sure to secure now the quantity you’ll need for the year.

Harvest days have their own rhythm — we work hard to keep the harvest efficient and the quality of your olive oil at its highest. With great team spirit and machines in hand, our little crew from Germany, Romania, Portugal, and Canada gives their best every single day.

And on our day off, that same spirit follows us.
We explore Mani together, dive into the sea, laugh and play like kids, and end the day around a table in a local taverna, sharing food, stories, and that feeling of being far from home but part of a team.

Work hard, play hard — that’s our harvest season.🌿

Our olive harvest retreat begins today!

For the next five days we welcome guests into our family farm. Together we’ll harvest olives, taste the first fresh oil of the season, cook and eat together, make soap with olive oil and relax with an olive oil massage !

Our guests will experience the rhythm of farm life the way we live it and maybe become part of global community of foodies and olive oil lovers!

It’s prickly pear season!
The cactus fruit that has become a signature of the Laconia region — and a powerful symbol across the Arab world.

You’ll see prickly pears growing everywhere in Laconia, even in the harsh and rocky landscapes of the Mani Peninsula.
Here at the farm, they grow almost on their own — asking for nothing, yet giving generously their sweet, delicious fruits.

In the Arab world, and especially for Palestinians, the prickly pear — sabr — carries a deeper meaning.
It stands for patience, resilience, and a profound connection to the land.

Just like the cactus, which roots easily and holds on firmly to the earth, the people it symbolizes remain steadfast, enduring every challenge while staying deeply rooted in their home.

We stand with those who teach the world what true resilience means.

What an honor and a responsibility to spread the Greek gastronomic culture to this group of Australians 🇦🇺 who visited us on Saturday with .

We shared our regenerative farm practices, cooked together Yemista — stuffed tomatoes and peppers with vegetables straight from the garden — and made the very local pitaroudia, hand-rolled spinach pies from Laconia. Each participant rolled their own phyllo, tasted our olive oil, and finally we all sat together around the table.

Connecting generations and cultures through food is at the heart of what we do at eumelia — preserving tradition while sharing a mindful way of eating.

Did you know that eumelia is nestled right between two legendary mountains?
Parnonas on our east side and Taygetus on our west create a perfect microclimate for our olives and vines.

Our area is called Tsoukalas, which means clay pot — probably because of the reddish clay soil once used for pottery.

We’re located just 5 km outside the village of Gouves. To reach us, you leave the asphalt behind and follow a well-maintained dirt road that leads straight to the farm.

And once here… you’ll feel it: the silence, the wide open sky, the wild nature. At eumelia, you truly feel in the middle of nowhere — and that’s where the magic begins.

A glimpse from the kitchen — a melon on the counter, sunlight spilling through the window, olive trees and herbs swaying just outside.

As a chef, when I stand here, knife in hand, I feel the connection between what grows out there and what I create in here. The ingredients are harvested only hours ago, sometimes just a few steps away, carrying the purest taste of this land. My intention? To serve our guests the raw taste of the finest produce we grow, dressed only with local, humble ingredients.

Cooking in this space reminds me why I do it: to nurture our bodies with honest food, to give back to the nature that sustains us, to regenerate the soil with every choice we make, and to bring people together around the table. To make a statement that sustainability begins with seasonality in farming.

This is the circle of farm to table — alive, present, and inspiring every single day.

Avgoustiatis is ripe and ready, Kidonitsa close behind — only Athiri still waits for a few more golden rays to reach its sweetest self.
