When the amazing UK wedding photographer Will Mason-Jones asks if you will be the wedding planner for his and his beautiful fiancé Vikki‘s East Coast olive grove wedding ceremony and sea front celebration in Corfu of course the answer was a big fat “YES I WILL”!It was also a big “I DO” to having a flower boy, shot girl, surprise ring bearer, dancing queen down the aisle and if that wasn’t enough we did dirty dancing run and jump air lifts to end the night!!

Garden Glam at its best!

7 years in the making, a worldwide pandemic, 2 cancelled weddings and a baby later, Becky and Aaron finally had their dream wedding in Corfu and it was everything they had ever dreamed of!

Intimate and personal, rustic yet elegant and oh boy it was fun!

They waited 1436 days from their original wedding date back in 2020 and it now feels almost surreal that they are finally married!

If anyone deserved the best day ever it was this pair!

Introducing Mrs M!

We did it! We got married and it feels like a dream!

Words can’t express how grateful and lucky I feel to have had so many amazing people by my side on the best day of my life!

After nearly 20 years of living and breathing other people’s weddings I finally got to have my very own big fat Greek wedding! And oh my, what an amazing week its been! We are so lucky to have had so many amazing family and friends by our side!

I’m still floating up high on cloud 9, but when I’m back down I will share some more thoughts, feelings and photos I promise!

None of it would have been possible without my amazing team who make it all possible and went the extra mile for me and on our special day….. we will be forever grateful!

I’ll be catching up this week on any missed emails and messages, and looking forward to be back making more dreams come true!

The one where your wedding planner gets married.... The Hen Party Edition!

As you may or may not already know, I myself am getting married this year and with just under 8 weeks to go it was time to start having some hen party fun! As promised in a previous post I want to try and share with you as much of my wedding journey as possible, not only as a wedding planner, but as a bride of 2024!

I’ve been planning weddings in Corfu for nearly 20 years now (yikes) and since becoming a “bride to be” it has seriously opened my eyes and taken me to a totally new level of wedding planning I didn’t know existed! There is so much more behind the scenes planning, arranging and coordinating I was never a part of this end that every couple has to have ticked off their checklist before they can even think about jumping on that plane and arriving in wedding heaven!

After nearly 2 decades of living and breathing other people’s weddings, I find myself lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most amazing wedding professionals on the island! Some have been doing what they do for longer than me, some may be just starting out but above all else, I have made some lifelong friends along the way and I am totally blessed to be able to have them by my side on my special day too!

I always assure my lovely couples that I would never recommend anything or anyone that I wouldn’t have at my own wedding, and now I can proudly prove it!

So, in true Corfu style, me and my bestest Corfu girls had an intimate yet slightly crazy Hen Party which I was honoured to host at the stunning Marina Vista Villa with its stunning views and Millionaire yachts parked up in the distance for the perfect backdrop!

The sun was shining and we were blessed with a mini heat wave!
The Pornstar Martinis were flowing!
The music was blasting!
And the food was out of this world!

It really was a night to remember and I couldn’t have wished for anything more!

And hey, if you’re not planning on getting married in Corfu, we can throw you one hell of a hen or stag do instead!

When Corfu is your home from home, then it makes perfect sense to make your wedding a day (or should we say week) to remember!

Charlotte and Aaron are no strangers to this heavenly place on earth they call Corfu and amongst boat trips and ABBA nights, they tied the knot on their beloved “San Stef” beach followed by drinks, dinner and dancing in their favourite local taverna…… They sipped on champagne, dodged the rain and danced the@night away!

Here in Greece they say it’s good luck to rain on your wedding day, and well, we had a few spots, so that’ll do us!

A Greek island wedding doesn’t necessarily have to be all beaches, boats, sea views and sand in your toes! Corfu Island, has some of the most beautiful hillsides, olive groves and vineyard venues to choose from too!

Whilst I am so so excited about 2024, my obsession over 2023 has not faded and I’m still reminiscing on one of my busiest wedding season ever!

This beautiful pair really did put their total trust in me as the first time they saw their venues in person was 2 days before their wedding! In fact, it was their first time to Corfu! The first of many now I’m sure!

Easy going, fun and stylish was the feel for this loved up pair! Smiles and laughter from start to finish and the whole styling concept and vibe was up there with the top wedding trends of 2023!

Corfu has cast its magical spell once again and I know for a fact we will be welcoming them back this year to relive some of those beautiful memories made on what was the best day of their lives!

Every year is a special year for me, working with so many amazing people to make Corfu wedding dreams come true, but perhaps this year it will be that little bit more extra special because……… I’M GETTING MARRIED TOO!

It’s still very surreal, that I’m planning my own wedding, and I’m trying my very best not to turn into bridezilla!
