Since 2013, KASTORIA INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR has been permanently hosted in the state-of-the-art International Exhibition Center of Kastoria (IECK), boasting an area of 13,000 m2 (approx. 140,000 ft2) and owned by the Kastorian Fur Association.
An agreement of strategic importance in 2016 with many ramifications was the cooperation of the Kastorian Fur Association with the official exhibition body of Greece, TIF – HELEXPO, which is now also the official co-organizer.
Since October 2017, KASTORIA INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR has officially held the title of an international event, having been certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as a UFI Approved Event, which placed it on the global firmament of major exhibition events.

KASTORIA INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR was founded in 1976 on the initiative of the Kastorian Fur Association “The Prophet Elias”, its original name being Fur Manufacturers’ Exhibition. It was Greek furriers’ first concerted effort to promote their products abroad, exchange know-how and strike business deals. This exhibition became a symbol of Kastoria’s identity and the pinnacle of the Greek fur industry.

The new campaign for the KASTORIA INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR that is to be held from 9-11 April 2025 marks its 50th anniversary and the beginning of a new chapter in its organization, further strengthening its commitment to ensure an ongoing and open dialogue with the fur industry.

The campaign’s narrative incorporates the key characteristics that define the fair’s 50-year path, which is deeply rooted in its tradition and principles, while at the same time being so timeless and current.

The location is dominated by granite, a symbol of its resilience and steadfast commitment to the institution’s values. The golden streaks symbolize its “rich” course and the celebration of its golden anniversary. The white statement silhouettes highlight the harmony, variety of goods on offer and the changes it has undergone through the course of these fifty years.
