I live in Mykonos Greece, with my wonderful partner of many years, we chose to live here once our 3 young adult kids fled the nest.

GREEK CULTURE 💙🤍

I love to add this little Greek Tradition to my ceremonies if my couples agree, which they usually do.

On the table I place a candle, and a tray with the following to represent our Greek culture and tradition which reflect the place you have chosen for your ceremony. On the tray will be sugared Almonds & Stefania. 🫶

💙 The Almonds on the tray symbolize endurance and sweetness of the couple’s life ahead. An odd number is used because the number can never be divided in two, as they are united and cannot be divided.

🤍 The 5 almonds in the bonbonniere (which I will give you in a pouch to take home) symbolize Health, Happiness, Fertility, Wealth and A Long Life Together.

👑 There are 2 crowns on the tray joined together by a ribbon, which symbolizes and blesses the beginning of your union as Husband & Wife, you are the King and Queen of your home and your union which you will embrace with love and faith.

💙 I also will have a small bowl of bougainvillea petals, rosemary, lavender and Olive leaves, which I sprinkle over you at the time of the Kiss, if my couples agree.
