Today I would like to thank every couple past and future who have chosen me as their celebrant in Greece.
And I must thank all the wedding planners, photographers, venues and so many others who I have worked with this year and for all the new friends that I will make in 2025! I am excited.
I have been working as a celebrant in Greece since 2019 and 2024 was an amazing year filled with love and ceremonies in so many different areas of Greece.
I love what I do, it is so much more than just a job.
So as we say goodbye to 2024, we must look forward to the future with hope for a healthy, happy and peaceful new year.
And we can start counting down to summer 25, the next summer of love 💍🇬🇷

As I look back at Summer 24 as a wedding celebrant in Greece I thought it would be fun to share some facts.
Last summer I travelled far and wide as a celebrant in Greece and was honoured to be chosen by so many couples.❤️
Every ceremony is written especially for every couple. No boring ceremonies here 😉
🔹19 couples actually tied the knot with a handfasting, one couple brought family tartans from home.
🔹9 couples blended the sands with a unity sand ceremony, many included their kids.
🔹Many couples renewed their wedding vows and 2 husbands surprised their wives and one wife surprised her husband. These 3 were very special. 💕
🔹There were 10 intimate elopement ceremonies in all areas of Greece.
🔹My biggest adventure was to Meteora for an intimate wedding ceremony on the sunset rock.
🔹I hiked the furthest for an adventurous hiking elopement on the beautiful Island of Crete.
🔹A ceremony inside a winery on the beautiful Island of Corfu was unforgettable.
🔹10 ceremonies took place at beautiful villas.
🔹There were many couples who included a ring warming in their ceremony.
🔹5 couples included the Greek crowns/Stefana
🔹1 couple blended their favourite wines
🔹Several couples included a rose ceremony.
🔹There was just one doggie ring bearer 🐩

And that was it. Summer 2024 is officially over 🙂
On Saturday I celebrated the last wedding of summer 24 and what an amazing summer it has been.
More than 50 ceremonies in all areas of Greece from the Dodecanese to the Cyclades to the Ionian and the mainland, I have travelled far and wide as a wedding celebrant in Greece.
Today I would like to thank all the couples and wedding suppliers who I have worked with this year.

Tyler and Alyssa love to go hiking so it was important for them to celebrate their love off the beaten track.
Their wedding ceremony would be an adventurous, intimate elopement on the beautiful Island of Crete.
As Summer 24 comes to its end here is a little look back at just some of the amazing places I have been over the past 6 months as a wedding celebrant in Greece.
It all began in April with a very special ceremony on the sunset rock Meteora and will end with a fabulous wedding in Athens at the end of this week.

As I look back I have amazing memories of the past few months. From Meteora to Crete, Santorini, Milos, Naxos and Ios, Corfu, Aegina and Tilos and numerous ceremonies in Athens and on the Island of Rhodes I have travelled far and wide as a wedding celebrant in Greece.

Do you know that you can have a celebrant led destination wedding ceremony in Greece?
There is nothing I like better than meeting a new couple and hearing their love story. Based on the Island of Rhodes, where I have lived for a lifetime, I create and perform destination wedding ceremonies and vow renewals with a difference anywhere in Greece.
I am a modern celebrant, originally trained by the UK Society of Celebrants and I am very passionate about my work and totally dedicated. Although to be honest it doesn’t really feel like work at all! Very experienced, creative and imaginative, also quite lively, entertaining and supportive I am happy to work with ceremonies of any size whether it be an intimate elopement or a large gathering of family and friends, and can, if asked, act as ‘Master of Ceremonies’ for the evening do! I support marriage equality, and love to encourage LGBTQ couples to choose Greece for their special day. For me it is all about the ceremony and creating lifelong memories!
Described by my friends and couples as unique, witty, emotional and funny, I am a great communicator and for those of you, who have chosen not to have a wedding planner, I am happy to share my contacts and give you any support required during the planning phase of your wedding.
As a celebrant in Greece, the ceremonies I create are, in essence, symbolic, but they certainly don’t feel that way! To be honest, most couples choosing to work with a celebrant, officially sign on the dotted line back home before or after travel, leaving them with no restrictions at all when planning their wedding ceremony in Greece so often the venues are beaches, stunning hotels, scenic restaurants, private villas, local yachts and from time to time, a remote olive grove.
For couples with Greek heritage, I do speak the language and am often asked to add spoken Greek to my ceremonies, in fact, I am willing to give anything a go, provided its on your wish list! I am a story teller just waiting to tell your story, with moving and fun moments all with a few Greek sparkles!
I am available for ceremonies anywhere in Greece, so Athens and the Athenian Riviera, Halkidiki, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete and Rhodes to name just a few; but really anywhere I can get to!! I do also love to create ceremonies on smaller lesser known Greek rocks, such as Chalki, Tinos, Tilos, Symi, there are just so many to choose from. I think you get the gist!
