What a dream to end the year with all of you this way ✨

Thank you all for coming last weekend to our annual Holiday Garden party, for joining our journey and celebrating with us.

We are grateful for our beautiful community, our Wild Daughter team and magical space that we get to share with and 🫶 It has been a very special year for us and we are excited for all the adventures yet to come.

We are back 🌞🫶

After one incredible month in Oaxaca, immersing ourselves in food and culture we are back in beautiful Antigua with fresh energies and we can't wait to see you soon.

The season has started in a whirlwind of events for us and we have been planning our upcoming wood-fired Wild Brunch and annual Holiday Garden Party together with and yay!

Part of our travel adventures, food has been guiding us as much as the crafts. Fascinated by all handmade, I got to spend time with weavers in Teotitlan learning from .y.pancho and buried my hands in clay in Azompa. Along the way I met .alarzon who has mastered the art of capturing her culture and traditions in her most beautiful barrow ahumado. With the meditating rostro of the sacerdote of the village as her muse, she has made her mark in the ceramic world of Oaxaca.  

In awe with la vida cotidiana del pueblo and the hustle and bustle of the city we travelled long windy roads and wandered small little alleys. We visited our friends .e.x.e.r.e, a cultural arts space in the heart of Tule. We ate our hearts happy again and again. A theatre of smoke and fire, smells and flavours. And to close this beautiful chapter of our third week in Oaxaca I joined in Mitla, el pueblo magico to cook at this magical place. 

Still processing all that we have seen and done I can't wait for what is yet to come. Endless fields of Cempasuchil leading the way to El Día de los mu***os 🖤

Looking back a few weekends ago when .meany and joined us at Wild Daughter to cook a wild feast cooked over the fire that saw us play and create and speak in so many flavours and colours 💛 Our hair still smoky, our minds still reminiscing. Thank you for bringing us all together from near and far and hosting this very special event.

Seasons 💛

A Wild Marigold Botanical Soda that fills her soul, celebrating all of this seasons' gifts. One of my favourite native plants that flowers in the rain season. We use Pericón as a natural dye for our wild daughter napkins and aprons but also for our syrups and infusions. Thank you for capturing this beauty 🌼

🌿 Wild Daughter's Birthday Brunch 🌿

Time has flown by so fast. It’s already been ONE YEAR since we joined and at Finca Azotea and opened our doors to wild brunches, private events, full-moon dinners, log fires and marshmallow nights, tacos and mezcal cocktails, open fire cooking workshops, garden parties and wild lunches bringing wild souls together from near and far.

To mark the occasion we would love to invite you to a very special Wild Birthday Brunch Feast. Seats are limited so don't wait too long

Antigua boasts rich traditions, colours and flavours. And for the first time we are offering a Wild Cooking Residency programme over a two-week time frame in August to share all of what we are passionate about. a self-directed residency for a female chef that gets the opportunity to join us at Wild Daughter, immerse in the local community and visit local markets and farms, stay .candelaria and cook wild at Wild Daughter's outdoor kitchen, playing and creating at your own pace.

Our hearts are full from last weekend's Mother's Day Brunch. Thank you all for joining us on Sunday, a beautiful afternoon spent grazing through the day, sipping mimosas and celebrating young and old, from near and far. We are so happy to have welcomed all generations that day who got together to share a wild brunch feast cooked over the fire, yoga in the morning , wild herb bouquets and the freshest baked goods . Still carrying a big smile on our faces 💛

🌿 Our next Wild Brunch will be very special as Wild Daughter is celebrating her First Year this June yay! Time to celebrate even more! More details are coming to you soon

As the temperature rises, we are dipping into a cool oasis of colours and flavours. A botanical twist on a beetroot mezcal and tropical fruits that touch sweet notes of our homemade infusions. This time, we made a beautiful syrup from hoja de pimienta that we collected in the rainforest of Peten on our recent travels exploring the lost world of the Maya. Notes of cinnamon and clove that I would have never imagined.

🌿 WILD COOKING RESIDENCY 🌿

We have worked on something very special over the past few months and I am so excited to finally reveal that our very first Wild Cooking Residency is coming to life in July & August of 2024.

A two-week residency at Wild Daughter designed for a female chef to step away from daily work routines and reconnect with your passion for food and gathering around the table. This is an invitation to cook wild, play and create again following your very own rhythm. This is an opportunity to get inspired by colours and flavours of beautiful Antigua in Guatemala and explore with an open mind.

🌿 Mother's Day Sunday Brunch 🌿

Celebrating Her, true heroines of our time now and every day. A meal shared for us means showing love and appreciation, connecting and reconnecting, and simply spending time together. So we are dedicating this upcoming Wild Brunch to all mums and mum figures out there, a whole morning for her to let her hair down and not think about anything else other than what to eat and drink next ❤️

Join us on Sunday, May 12 from 11am for a whole morning of wild brunching and mimosa sipping. And of course the will be there with all her treats.
