Have you ever been afraid to make a change that you wanted and ended up regretting that you didn't go for it? Why is that? Growth can feel uncomfortable, complicated, fearful, exciting, new, and maybe risky. The familiar feels regular, safe, known, and sometimes less complicated.



As humans, many of us fear the unknown, so we stop. We stop even when we know that going forward in a new direction will help us.

A little typing out loud: Are you tougher on yourself than you need to be? Why is that? Many people believe they have to be. Where this notion comes from, many don't know but it's there and it's not serving them well.



Life has a lot of occasions to take your breath away - both good and not so good. So please, cut yourself some slack - you will never be perfect which is fantastic! Keep learning to love yourself a little more each day and say, "Hey, it's okay to be good to myself. It's not selfish and I deserve it!"
