After 4 years, flamenco artist and teacher Tomas Arroquero returns to HK for another installment of his exciting and dynamic workshop. There will be something for everyone: choreography, tecnica and pataita classes for those who want to learn short pieces to build their own choreography. 15-25 August at Moving Cube Studio and MCC Centre. Beautiful, prize winning flamenco dancer from Madrid, and one of the most important artists in flamenco world today, Co**ha Jareño shared her techniques and choreographies with the flamenco junkies in HK last June. World famous, critically acclaimed flamenco dancer Manuel Liñan was in Moving Cube Studio last May. Hong Kong flamenco enthusiasts took this unique opportunity to learn from a great maestro at his one week workshop organised by Andrea Chan, with live music by Kelleigh P**n and Ashley on guitar.
Calling girls and boys, aged 9-15 years old. Now is the time to start learning h flamenco! Our teacher partner, Mariko Drayton and her flamenco school Esencia Flamenca HK, is proud to hold a Special Flamenco Summer Program at Moving Cube Studio starting 15 July till October. The course is 12 lessons to learn Sevillanas, including its basic steps, technique and choreography of this southern Spanish folk dance.
