婚禮策劃師道生(黄子華 飾) 因婚禮市場蕭條而債台高築，被迫改行成為葬禮經紀人。起初，道生因理念不合而屢與喃嘸師傅文哥(許冠文 飾)衝突不斷。但數次危難時刻文哥的出手相助，以及親歷文哥與女兒文玥(衛詩雅 飾)的相處點滴，道生與文哥的心結慢慢解開，也逐漸悟到破地獄的真正意義 💭

Throughout October, the Cosmopolis Festival 2025 brought vibrant performances from around the globe to Shaw Auditorium, filling the venue with music, culture, and creativity! 🌍

🎵 The festival began with Elifantree , who wowed the audiences with their modern Nordic jazz. Their performance combined dazzling improvisation, electroacoustic elements, and captivating visuals to create an unforgettable musical journey.

🎤 Next, vocal artist 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 brought the beauty of Indian classical music to life, performing the expressive khayal form alongside Siddhesh Bicholkar (harmonium), Yati Bhagwat (tabla), and Rutuja Lad (vocal support).

🎻 To conclude the month, the internationally acclaimed Pavel Haas Quartet delivered a stunning recital, featuring string quartets by Beethoven and early 20th-century Czech composers Kaprálová and Martinů.

What a spectacular evening of cultural resonance at Shaw Auditorium! The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO), led by Mr. Rupert Woo Pak Tuen (Associate Conductor of HKCO and Resident Conductor of the Hong Kong Young Chinese Orchestra, and HKUST alumnus), alongside composer Chan Ming-chi, transported the audience along the Silk Road, celebrating the p**a as a vessel of storytelling and musical tradition. 🌟

From the rich melodies of the Five-string P**a, Nanyin P**a, Chikuzen Biwa, Saz, and more, the concert showcased the diversity and vivid colors of Silk Road cultures. Each movement revealed the expressive magic of plucked string instruments across Asia and beyond! 👍

香港中樂團 Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra 《絲語 · 琵琶》社區音樂會所演出的民族管弦樂套曲《絲語 ‧ 琵琶》，依據不同的琵琶類樂器，對應不同題材的表現形式及聲音處理特色去編寫 🎼 全曲分為七個樂章：第一樂章 - 前奏曲《長風破浪時》、第二樂章 - 文 ‧ 詩經《瓊瑤》及《玄鳥》、第三樂章 - 武《霸王卸甲》、第四樂章 - 間奏曲《一抹清風柔》、第五樂章 - 英《聽海之心》、第六樂章 - 傑《音詩共和》及第七樂章 - 後奏曲《揚帆濟滄海》。

音樂會中將由 #五弦琵琶、 #南音琵琶、 #筑前琵琶、 #薩茲（土耳其抱彈樂器），以及 #尺八、 #管、 #古琴 及 #嘟嘟克笛 等演奏，呈現不同的地域風情，展現絲路文化！✨


🎼 As the foremost plucked string instrument, P**a has been found across different regions that eloquently recount the histories and stories of their lands. The Chinese orchestral suite “Silken Notes of the P**a” performed by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra in this Community Concert is structured in seven movements, highlighting the expressive qualities and tonal characteristics of the Five-string P**a, Nanyin P**a, Chikuzen Biwa, and the Saz of Türkiye, together with the Shakuhachi, Guan, Guqin and Duduk. These instruments will weave a colourful musical tapestry tracing back to the cultural heritage of the Silk Road. ✨
