So much labour of love poured into this contemporary dreamy white wedding for Joanne & Jeffrey. You guys are one of the reasons why we take joy in what we do!

In approaching the design of this gazeworthy event, we made sure that all the aesthetic elements of the wedding complemented each other …. from the invitation, bridal flowers and ceremony backdrop to the dinner tablescape and wedding cake, everything just perfectly sung together!

One event that has been very dear to our heart is this one - the first large scale wedding at M+ Museum for J&T.

The wedding ceremony overlooked the city’s iconic Victoria Harbour skyline at The Pergola of the Rooftop Garden. The post-ceremony cocktail took place at the Hong Kong sister restaurant of Seoul’s famed Michelin-starred Mosu adjacent to The Rooftop Garden. The dinner reception was held inside The Atrium with its dramatic spiral staircase. And the afterparty was arranged at the contemporary wooden paneled Forum.

Right from the start, the couple envisioned a classy, sophisticated and elegant wedding. The design aesthetics of the wedding featured lush white florals and dense green foliage and trees, ambient candle lighting, textured printing and watercolour illustrations for invitations, and clean minimalistic styling for the wedding cake to reflect M+’s modern architecture.

Food and drink for the wedding was important to the couple. Since Japanese and Italian cuisines have always been the couple’s favourite, a fine dining dinner menu with Japanese-Italian fusion dishes was created with the assistance of Grand Hyatt’s top executive chefs, and were presented in artistic fashion. Rare wines and signature cocktails were also curated for an unforgettable guest experience.

When it came to music, we were really lucky. Covid restrictions on live music started to lift, and we were able to get in vocalists to serenade the march-in and march-out at the ceremony and entertain guests at the post-ceremony cocktail.

Such a joy to have worked with the same family for 2 weddings. First for Cherry about 4.5 yrs ago. Then, more recently for younger sister Gloria - still remember how thrilled and over the moon we were when we heard of the news!

Gloria & Casey had envisioned a timeless and elegant wedding surrounded by white flowering trees and delicate blooms that in the course of time transformed into reality at Tiffin, Grand Hyatt, where 200 guests were greeted with exquisite food & drinks during a wonderful afternoon. The dinner reception was an intimate and cozy one at Club Lusitano, where the beautiful bride donned a gorgeous dress embroidered with the couple’s love story, and those nearest and dearest dined against a backdrop of romantic flickering candles and a champagne tower.

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since we last updated our social media. We’ve been kept pretty busy, on our toes, since social distancing measures for weddings relaxed in May. We’ve been constantly working on site with our lovely couples and good friends in the industry, trying to make sure scheduled and postponed events do finally happen in the best way it can!

Wishing our dear friends Karen & Sam a happy anniversary! ❤️❤️

Can’t believe that 3 yrs passed like a blink of an eye, just like that! And we’re still dreaming of this epic finale to their 4 part wedding celebration, filled with romantic fairy tale elements: a magnificent historic chateau, an enchanting garden with the statue of Eros (the Greek God of Love), a horse drawn carriage, a gorgeous Elie Saab wedding gown with intricate embellishments, lush delicate bridal flowers, fine Parisian cuisine, a spectacular fireworks display that lighted up the night sky, and music and dancing that lasted late into the evening. It was definitely nothing short of magical and certainly an event to be remembered!

While Hong Kong is at a standstill with social distancing measures in tow, we’re still energetically preparing for events that will spread its wings once government restrictions relaxes.

Loving these design inspirations for one particular event we’re excitedly putting together at the moment. The natural wood elements, the floral gestures, the simple clean aesthetics, and the colour palette here are just some of the components of the wedding design. Can’t wait to see it come to life!

It’s been a busy season for us and so we havent been able to post as much as we want to, but definitely this event deserves sharing!

“Up Up and Away! A baby is on the way!” is the motto for this celebration. It was a hot air balloon themed baby shower with clouds and wooden planes that we totally fell head over heels for!

For Amy & Robert, their “something blue” bridal party is like a fairytale …. these best friends have been there since once upon a time and will no doubt be there forever after. On reflection, we for sure will never forget these amazing friends. Even those who couldn’t fly to Hong Kong for the wedding were present the entire day in their bridesmaid or groomsmen outfit via zoom, despite the time zone differences they were in. It was amazing to see all the love and support they poured out onto the new Mr & Mrs …. from prepping the couple in the morning and helping take care of the flower girl, to being MCs, coordinating zoom and sharing unforgettable moments in their speeches. The day wouldn’t have been complete without them …. special kudos to these guys and gals!

And once again, our warmest congrats to Amy & Rob! We love you two too!

Couples spend anywhere between 6 months and 1.5 years in planning a wedding with us. Clients choose us, and yet at the same time, we choose our clients too, similar to how you would choose a partner in life, and from there, a special, trusting and meaningful relationship develops like how a friendship grows between the closest of friends. So when the day we have been anticipating rolls around the corner, we feel so overjoyed, and at the same time, feel truly gratified in seeing the consummation of our hard work. Though we would love to dwell in the moment forever for each wedding, we also know that life goes on, and we wish all of our couples, like this very special couple here Sarah & Michael, a lifetime of love and happiness as they journey onto the road of marriage.

Arranging a wedding ceremony at a private residence has its challenges, in this case particularly so when it’s done only 3 days before it was supposed to be held elsewhere.

The last minute call for the change of venue was to protect guests from potential exposure to covid, which eventually proved to be a very wise decision on the part of the groom’s mom, as we discovered soon after the wedding that 2 patrons of the original venue had visited the premises a mere few days before the scheduled event and were confirmed positive, with the original venue having to be closed for 2 weeks for sanitization.

It’s truly been a roller coaster ride this year having to prepare multiple plans based on guestimates and then having them all scrapped at the end, as there’s an element of “wait and see” in the planning, and it’s all about the well-being of everyone at the end. Yet, we are always so incredibly grateful for the various vendors whom we work with and strive to make magical things happen, even when faced with challenges, including having the dinner banquet guest size reduced from 650 to 380 and then to 40. For this celebration for Calvin & Christine, a special shout out goes to these amazing vendors:
