If you haven’t taken his classes yet, this is coach Kotani who has been teaching adults and kids with us full time since the end of last term. Some of you may also remember his guest bars performance on Trybe Day 2 as well! This time we are lucky enough to see him take the floor.
Kotani is a former competitive gymnasts, and as you can see, he has some insane skills! He has been using our HERO Flight, Tumbling 3 classes to maintain conditioning for his skills. With his experience, he was able to put together his routine in 2 weeks!
Our L2: Adult Gymnastics Course students have been killing it in our classes. Their hard work culminated in a beautifully performed routine on Trybe Day. They learned the routine in around 6-8 weeks and were able to put their own flair and twist to the movements. We can’t help but admire their gracefulness and bravery to perform this in front of our Trybe community. See you guys at the next Trybe Day - Nov 30 + Dec 1!

A cast to squat on is a ‘basic’ bars skill in gymnastics. But doing this skill can be scary! Especially as an adult, when you can think of all the things that could go wrong, and you don’t have years of training behind you.
Gemma hasn’t been doing bars for very long, and she has been practicing diligently, both in class and any time she sees bars in a park.
She got her first cast to squat on just 2 weeks before her Trybe Day performance!
We’re so proud of you and your dedication Gemma! We can’t wait to see what new skills you’ll crack next! 🥳💪🤸🏼♀️
