Did you get vaccinated yet? I got my second jab yesterday. Did I have my doubts? Yes, I very well did. But like in most situations when doubts cloud my mind, I try and judge the pros and cons..and go with the side that tilts the balance. Every now and then, I leave it to the experts to help me decide. I do think I have made the right decision. Making myself, my family a little safer. Yes, I am selfish. I first think of protecting me and my kin. If this jab helps us all, and subsequently helps the community that I live in, then this is an absolute gift. Subject to medical advice, but for most people in regions where we are lucky to have easy access to vaccines, IMHO it should become an instant choice.

Had the most dreamy session with this adorable young man..perfect lighting, wild flowers, and a kaleidoscope of butterflies! (Had to use that one!).. seemed like a day I should have sincerely prayed for a covid-free world.

I love scouting for new locations for pictures.. and it's so amazing to work with clients who are willing to go with my vibe on a new spot without ever having seen the place themselves.

2020..It has been described as challenging, exciting, unthinkable, terrible, unending. Sometimes I feel like adding a few more adjectives to this list. Everytime, I write the date, and it includes those numbers 2020, I cringe inside.
Yet sometimes, I just pause to reflect on years gone by. On times that I didn't think were as important. If 2020 has taught me one thing, it is to value what I have, a lot more. Not just my relationships, but myself.
I want to emerge a stronger person out of this very forgettable (yet unforgettable) year. Owing to fewer assignments in the beginning of the year, i started taking out more "me" time, and loved it. I have been photographing a lot more for myself.. And i do think my art is evolving at a more rapid pace than before too.

With women's day just gone by, good time to tell you about some of the superwomen who are our patrons. Meet Sakshi, photographer extraoridniare, left a career in banking to pursue her love for photography, her love for her two boys, for an adopted puppy and for a puppy she's fostering! So 2020 is here.. A week old.. And the scary bit is that i remember ushering in the new millennium to JLo's "waiting for tonight" not such a long time back. Why do the last 20 yrs seem much shorter than the 2 decades preceeding them? Do you remember 31st dec 1999 clearly as well? Or is it just me living in the illusion of Planet 🌏 Earth working to earn a speeding ticket around the Sun ☀?

Either ways, wish you a splendid year ahead. Hope you get to rest up, relax, glow, smile....and be as fabulous as my gorgeous friend in this pic. .

Leaving HK? What's the one thing that you would miss most? For this lovely girl, it was the friends she had grown up with. And her family got her to have a photo shoot with her special friends.
Throwback to a warmer day, as I preserved memories for not 1, but all 8 of these sprightly and vivacious friends. Was memorable indeed!
