Based in Hong Kong, he DJs every week, and VJs at the major festivals and events in town. Martin+S started DJing at age 16 in his home country Latvia where he was greatly influenced by European underground scenes. He became a professional DJ when he opened a nightclub in Beijing in 2008. He has played internationally in places such as Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Vietnam, Mongolia and also at
the legendary Burning Man in Nevada, USA. Together with DJ Mikey Dee, he also created the label RIDDIM organizing parties in BJ and festivals throughout China. Since he moved to HK in 2009, he has worked with numerous clubs and restaurants as well as events including Clockenflap, Secret Island Party, Bunker and Botellon. He is currently a resident DJ at Ophelia, Spiga, Alto. He is also a visual artist and worked with big names such as John Digweed, Sasha, Tiesto to name a few. With more than 15 years of DJ experience, passion for music with no compromises in sound quality, Martin+S plays electronic music including House, Deep house, Tech house, Techno, Minimal, Electronica.
