JIMMY YUEN
Jimmy Yuen, born in Hong Kong in 1975, moved to New Zealand 1993 and studied Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington. He later earned a master’s in Landscape Architecture in Hong kong and became a Registered
Landscape Architect.

A talented artist from a young age, Jimmy has
won numerous competitions in art, architecture, and design. Notably, he won the Bruce Lee’s Residence Ideas
Competition in 2009 and tram body design competitions in 2021 and 2024. In his spare time, Jimmy creates public artworks, including themed bus and tram designs honoring Hong Kong’s legendary pop stars like Bruce Lee, Leslie Cheung, and Anita Mui, attracting international visitors.

With architectural training background, Jimmy has made good use of his perspective drawing skills and technique in developing dynamic artworks in relation to Hong Kong’s unique tall and dense building environment.
