THE FINALS 🏆🥇 Crown Up Dance Cup welcomed more than 500 dancers in Jastrebarsko with an idea of connecting dance and talent with creativity and teamwork! 💪🙌

🎥 Here is a video of our Finals featuring TOP 5 best solo/duo/trio, juniors and seniors choreographies, as well as the Dance Challenge, a unique mini choreo competition that amazed our dancers and our audience. Enjoy these dance moments with us! 😍

Dear competitors, mentors, and dance enthusiasts,

We would like to inform you about changes in plans for this year’s Crown Up Dance Cup in Croatia. Although we initially planned to organize multiple competitions throughout the country, after careful analysis and consideration, we have decided to change our strategy.

Due to the impact on the competition’s concept and unexpected challenges resulting in the cancellation of certain events, we have chosen to focus on one event to ensure the quality and integrity of the competition. Therefore, we are proud to announce that this year’s Crown Up Dance Cup will be exclusively held in our town in Jastrebarsko on 13th April 2024..

This change will allow us to dedicate ourselves to providing an unforgettable experience for all participants while maintaining the high standards you expect from the Crown Up Dance Cup. Jastrebarsko offers excellent resources and space for our competition, and we are confident that this will be a memorable experience for all participants.

Please follow our official communication channels to stay updated with the latest information about the competition, including details about the date, location, and registration. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to make this year’s Crown Up Dance Cup something special.

Presenting: Dance Styles at Crown Up Dance Cup ✨

👑 PRODUCTION NUMBER 👑 In production number discipline, choreography must have a clear theme or story which takes the viewer on an imaginary journey that has a beginning, middle and end. All dance styles are allowed.

Clear and pure dance technique in any chosen style is required. Choreography should be built up on idea and creativity accompanied by appealing costumes, strong presentation and expression. In this discipline performance can also combine acting and dance. Storyline, characterization and costume must reflect the chosen choreography piece.

👑 CONTEMPORARY/MODERN 👑 Dance category based on classical foundation (ballet technique) with also involving a sense of being grounded as opposed to floating in ballet, which is adding more freedom to the movement. Fundamentals in the contemporary/modern dance: contract-release body work, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics of modern dance.
