With this team, it's never boring. After successfully brewed the beer from the .homebrew.competition winner, they've taken it further. They refined the same recipe, and the result is Hoppy Morphosis, a Hoppy Pilsner.

[[NOVO PIVO]] Splitski je SMASH Homebrew Competition ove godine sve podignuo na jednu još višu razinu (enorman trud koji su Diano, Ivana, Riža, Pave i drugi napravili se jako vidio), a jedan od rezultata toga je izašao prije par dana na tržište - prvi put je pobjednički recept izbačen komercijalno. BJCP kategorija 3A - Czech Pale Lager, ono što bi u stvarnom svijetu bila tzv. desítka, lakša verzija češkog pilsnera - što alkoholom, što hmeljnim intenzitetom, sama po sebi nije laka za skuhati. Kad još na to dodamo limite SMASH natjecanja - jedan slad (pilsner) i jedan hmelj (saaz), to je bio još veći izazov. Markku Leminen ("Wanderer Brewing"), poznati finski homebrewer, je natjecanje, realno, izdominirao i bio jasan pobjednik na kraju. Kako?

Čisti pilsner slad ne može nužno baš dati traženu boju, tijelo i sladnost - mora biti "floor malted", a Markku je koristio Weyermannov Floor-Malted Bohemian Pilsner Malt, "prepakiran" slad tradicionalne češke sladare, uz dodatno odrađene dekokcije za postići željeni profil. Njim se pozabavio tradicionalni kvasac za češke lagere i donio u komercijalnoj verziji 4.2% alkohola. Naravno, tu su i ogromne količine hmelja bile u pitanju - saaz, koliko god davao tražene cvjetne, biljne arome je s druge strane jako, jako loš izbor za postići nužnu gorčinu, pa čak i za lakši, blaži 3A. To znači da ga se mora pametno i puno dodati... jer vrlo, vrrrlo je lako tu podbaciti. Ponavljamo, ako idete raditi češki pilsner (a da nije za neki SMASH koji to traži) *ne koristite obični saaz za gorčinu*, bacate odličan tradicionalni aromatični hmelj u vjetar. Postoji niz drugih čeških (a i nečeških) sorti za gorčinu koje se (i) u Češkoj koriste za to. :) Kako bilo, kažu da je u ovoj Pulfer verziji došao do 25 jedinica gorčine. Na kraju, treba biti lagano, pitko a opet aromatično i gorkasto ljetno pivo!

Kako smo rekli, već je u distribuciji pa krenimo od Splita nadalje. Distribuciju tamo radi CroCraft (koji ga drži i u svom dućanu u Mall of Splitu), ali ima ga naravno i Little Beer Shop / Mali Dućan Matejuška, PLAN B pub koji je ugostio natjecanje ove godine, Pivkan koji ga je ugostio prošle godine, a i Pivnica PROSTOR! Mrvicu dalje, u Trogiru, drži ga Bubalus Gourmet Bar, a još mrvicu dalje, u Šibeniku, Pizzeria Viva! U Rijeci ga, kao i ostale Pulfere, drži Brewtiga Craft Beer, a u Zagrebu redom Ambasada., Beer Shop Pomalo, Beer shop/taproom To & to, Goblet Beer Store - Zagreb i Song day&night bar, tako da biste trebali relativno lako moći kušati kako su Pulferovci odradili taj finsko-češki recept!

'We are proud to announce that this year's best beer at the SMASH Homebrew competition was brewed by the talented and is headed your way. His 'Pale Czech Lager' won the hearts of the judges and the audience, and was declared the best of all submitted beers. As a prize for , Markku got the opportunity to brew his winning beer at the renowned Pulfer Brewery.'

Needless to say, we are very pleased that we participated in this cool project in which we exchanged brewing tips, and had a great time along the way. Special thanks to all the guys from , CroCraft, and of course to the great .

Malo logistike za sutra... 🌅🕺🌊💙

Prijatelji iz SMASH Homebrew Competition su pripremili nekoliko točionika posebno skuhanog domaćeg piva za ovu priliku, a Familia Craft Pivovara je nadopunila još par bačvi – sve po popularnim cijenama. 🍺🍻

Odmah u susjedstvu se nalaze dva prijateljska ugostiteljska objekta za sve ono što nedostaje, zaboravite ili dolazite s "rukama u žepima". 🍗🥃

I Guappi su u Splitu. Program startamo u 18:00, Guappi prvi tramonto/suton/sunset set imaju u 20:00 (suton je u 20:15), a onda noćni set od 24 do kraja (program je planiran do 2:00). KLFM Soundsystem bira za vas i nas u rupama ove satnice. 🎶🎹

Osigurali smo 2 WC-a i dovoljno kanti za smeće. Molimo vas za brigu o prostoru naših domaćina ŠNRK “Orada” i prvih susjeda veslača HVK "Mornar". 🧹🧽

Kupanje je na mulu iza bazena Mornara. Na događanje su dobro došli svi, stari i mladi, điraši i neđiraši, četveronožni prijatelji... 👯‍♀️👯

Subota 👇

U subotu se vraćamo u špinutsko/poljudske lučice. Nakon što smo tri sutona dočekali s dragim domaćinima ŠNRU “Marjan”, ove godine selimo samo malo dalje u intimniji prostor lučice ŠNRK “Orada”. 🌅🌊💃⛵️

Ponovo nam dolaze gosti iz (Istočnog) Napulja, dvojac pod imenom I Guappi (DNApoli & Pica Selecter) s torbama vinila neomelodico ritmova geta svojeg grada. Prvi put nastupaju izvan Campanije i nose nam emocije grada za ovu vruću mediteransku noć i večer. Neomelodico u svim svojim mutacijama (funky, boogie, raggae, rock-staedy i disko) scene 1970-ih, 1980-ih i 1990-ih godina 20. stoljeća. Izvorni protagonisti svih onih, još uvijek pod turističkim terorom neotkrivenih, kantuna napuljskog geta.

U ovoj splitskoj maloj lučici zajednice, koja još drži ostatke identiteta grada, opirući se romantizaciji i fetišizaciji Mediterana, lučici koja još nije pregažana charter vezovima i Michelin restoranima, uz naše goste za vas punih 8 sati biramo i ritmove Jadrana i Mediterana cijelog globusa bez žanrovskih ograničenja. Večer kao nekad za noćno kupanje, večer iz 80-ih, večer iz vremena kad smo imali nadu u budućnost, večer za sve, stare, mlade, điraše i neđiraše, večer fešte maloga mista.
