We are feeling very excited, whilst cautiously optimistic, that we will get the green light for our Fresh Island Festival to go ahead this summer. We are working tirelessly with all concerned to enable you to have a safe and well-deserved festival holiday. It is still uncertain whether there will be any parties and festivals during the summer months and, if so, under what conditions and protocols. Velikoj globalnoj inicijativi “Red Alert”, koja je pokrenuta kako bi se podigla svijest o kriznoj situaciji u kojoj se našla cijela event industrija, priključuje se i Hrvatska.

Danas će od 21 do 23 sata, u crvenoj boji zasvijetliti tisuće lokacija diljem svijeta, a među njima zagrebačka i pulska Arena.

Hrvatsku event industriju čini više od 2.000 poslovnih subjekata s više od 12.000 zaposlenih, a svi su oni preko noći ostali bez mogućnosti da obavljaju svoj posao. Predviđanja stručnjaka kažu da će proći još cijela godina prije ponovnog pokretanja, stoga je potrebna hitna reakcija te donošenje nužnih mjera kako se cijela industrija ne bi potpuno urušila.

Svaki live event, od najmanjeg do najvećeg, ima nešto zajedničko. Skriveni dio tog živog mehanizma bez kojeg produkcija u cjelini, odnosno cijeli event ne bi bilo moguće realizirati - su ljudi. Riječ je o talentiranim profesionalcima koji stoje „iza zavjese“ i koji su u potpunosti predani svom poslu te stvaraju onaj nezaboravni wow efekt. Riječ je o audio inženjerima, dizajnerima rasvjete, video majstorima, sistem dizajnerima, tehničarima za razglas, tehničarima za video, tehničarima rasvjete, tehničarima za backline, graditeljima pozornica, tehničarima za energetiku, riggerima, pirotehničarima, stagehandsima, runnerima, roadiejima, stage managerima, production i hospitality managerima, redateljima, logističkim koordinatorima, promotorima, ugostiteljima, vozačima, djelatnicima u brojnim event i booking agencijama, zaštitarimkoji su mjesecima na koljenima, bez prihoda i perspektive.
Pogođeni su koncerti, festivali, kazališta, sajmovi, kongresi i brojna druga događanja koja ili uopće ne mogu raditi ili mogu raditi uz brojne restrikcije i u drastično smanjenom kapacitetu publike koji u praksi onemogućuje rad i stvara ogromne financijske gubitke.

Hrvatsku event industriju čini 2.000 poslovnih subjekata s više od 12.000 zaposlenih, a godišnje generira 4,5 milijarde kuna prometa. Izbijanjem pandemije doživjeli su potpuno zatvaranje, a nakon 6 mjeseci stagnacije situacija se i dalje ne popravlja te se predviđa da će do oporavka i pokretanja proći još barem godinu dana. Bez mogućnosti prihoda i uz nemjerljive gubitke, cijela je industrija pred potpunim urušavanjem te je nužna hitna reakcija Vlade RH.
