"We got married a year back in Bali. Me and my husband chose Vara wedding to help with the whole planning process. We owe them a 5 star review and here goes it, 1 year late.

Choosing Vara Wedding was the best decision we made for our wedding. We live in the US and had to plan our traditional South Indian wedding in Bali. Our wedding was inter faith, so we had 2 weddings: Tamil Hindu Wedding and a Tamil Muslim wedding. We also had a pre wedding event: mehndi, everything organized by Vara Wedding.

Madonna was our wedding planner. First call was introduction, we were expecting Reshmi to be our planner, but she was busy, and Madonna was assigned to us. Honestly, after the first few calls, we felt that we couldn't have asked for anyone better than Madonna. She set up regular sync meetings with us for 6months before the wedding, took the time and effort to get to know us, make us feel comfortable, learn what we want and she DELIVERED! The whole team was amazing. Indian traditions as everyone knows are so complicated. Madonna and team set up dedicated calls to learn our culture, practices and wedding process which showed how much they cared. I am nit picky detail oriented control freak, and my husband is much easy going. Madonna made sure to satisfy both of us in every possible way. The requirements gathering process by Madonna was just really personal like a friend. She quickly built the trust with us.

In regards to the arrangement and coordination with our families and guests, they went above and beyond. Our wedding was in Ubud which is 2 hours away from airport. They helped arrange stay, travel and airport pick/up drop for all our guests.

Traditional South Indian wedding is not a common thing in Bali. Madonna was so patient with us, she made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Everyone who attended the wedding was so mind blown by the planning and ex*****on that they all wanted to meet Vara Wedding team. Some even got their contacts for future reference.

We did have some complications in our guest list, that kept increasing in size. Vara wedding was so understanding to manage the budget and vendor expectations as needed.

Madonna personally made several trips to the venue in Ubud, though their office is in Uluwatu near airport. They were so kind enough to video call and show us the place, walk us through every detail at the venue and set expectations for the venue.

In terms of food: we wanted traditional south Indian food served on banana leaf, and vara wedding team made that happen!

On the days of the wedding, Madonna was right there with me from the early hours in the morning till everything was wrapped up. I really felt Madonna was like another bridesmaid to me at the wedding with such care, love and assistance offered every minute. My husband had his own assistant, and both of families had their own helpers who went to their rooms to help them get ready, and get them on time to the venue.

South Indian weddings happen in the wee hours of the morning, and Madonna + team helped negotiate the sound restrictions at the venue. Decorations were another thing. We wanted our wedding to be in nature and be eco friendly. The team helped negotiating and finding alternatives for everything. That showed us that they knew Bali local in and out. It also shows they know what they are doing. On the day we were amazed at the decor set up!

One other huge shout out to Madonna and team was budget. We were a lil budget constrained, and Madonna had excellent negotiation deals made for us to make sure we stay within budget. All their recommended vendors were brilliant. We could not have asked for more.

Thank you again Madonna, Reshmi, Christina and the whole Vara Wedding team. They made our dream come true! It would not have been possible without them. We highly recommend Vara Wedding to anyone. Do not worry about your culture or specific needs, everything will be taken care by them and they will make sure you feel like King and Queen that day!"
