This year has been nothing but extraordinary. So many things has happened that took us out of our comfort zones, and in doing so, we crave for that tiny bit of normalcy of the things we know and love in life.
Mr. @andydjatiutomo take on this year’s Christmas is this: go back to the basics, with red.
Through the colors of the familiar: red, Andy wants to take us back to the time where Christmas is at its core—an image of Christmas that resounds in our minds and in our hearts through the use of classical elements and the things you can find at home.

A song that might echoes in our mind when we think of flowers—which just wouldn’t be applicable to modern-day florist. Here, just for fun, we taught our children new lyrics that suits the current era.
Things to keep in mind:
1. Florists have to buy flowers from respectable flower plantations, meaning that the stalks don’t come from their backyards. There will be costs of logistics and the fluctuating availability of each variants, especially imported ones.
2. Florists spend time and effort to create the best arrangements for clients. In addition to energy and time, there are also many costs that clients don’t necessarily see.
3. Budget is important, and expectations have to be managed. Everyone wants exquisite arrangements that are unique and memorable, but please keep in mind that a lot of arrangements / wedding bouquets that you see in Pinterest use lots of imported flowers.
4. Wholesalers (yes, even us) do not sell imported fresh flowers per stem. We sell in bunch, so that means that even if the arrangement you want only needs 3 stems of tulips, your florists need to purchase 10 stems. In general, every single VARIETY of flowers in those Pinterest picture will cost your florist AT LEAST 150k (if you’re talking peonies, that variety alone will cost 500K). As such, more varieties mean more cost for your florists.
5) At the end of the day, clients and florists actually have same goals:great flowers and arrangements. This will require understanding from both sides, so trusting and respecting each other is key.
Stay true, stay healthy, and thank you for trusting us always.
