Our day with Aubrey was the absolute highlight of our week in Ireland! Going to Abbeyleix, the town where our family is from, was the reason we came to Ireland. Aubrey made the experience wonderful, exceeded every expectation and made us feel like VIP's. It was the perfect way to cap off the week. He arrived at our Airbnb 15 minutes before our scheduled pick up time. His van was spotlessly clean and comfortable for our 40 minute drive from Castledermot to Abbeyleix and while on the way, gave us interesting information about the area. He spent 8 hours with us taking us to the places we asked him to and a few others to make the experience extra special. We were there on a Monday when lots of shops are closed in Abbeyleix. However, he was able to get our group into the charming local flower shop, House of Blooms, so we could meet and chat with the owners who share our family name. He then worked more magic and was able to get us into the oldest pub in Abbeyleix, 3 hours before opening, to share a pint and learn the history of Morrissey's with the friendly manager. Aubrey was a wonderful host and we can not recommend him highly enough.
