A lovely bright bouquet for Martina yesterday.
I was delighted to be asked to do Martina's flowers.I also got to do her Auntie's bouquet a while back.
Martina's mum's family were great neighbours of ours in Garden St/Market square.
So the links are strong.
A great street.Great memories.

Over the years I have attended many events,both happy and sad in this beautiful Church,St.Tiernan's in Crossmolina.
From First Holy Communions,Confirmations(a fair few🤣😘) also extended family weddings.
Memories rolled in early this morning when I was dropping off this Altar Candle arrangement for a wedding.
A few prayers and "thank yous" were quietly said.
Wishing the lovely couple much joy,health and a long and happy life together.

I wish I could post their scent !
It's beautiful.

A very special rememberance posy❤️made at the weekend,all whites and some home grown thistle.
Am quite proud of this thistle.It's thriving away in a pot and was well worth growing.
Another plan for summer 2025🤞🙏 is to have a corner full of garden flowers,so the thistle hopefully will feature.
Nice(I think) and necessary😉 to be making plans for next summer,on this wet miserable morning !

Working with some beautiful white flowers for the weekend,
but first,
a little therapy with some beauties from the garden.
Some home grown little blue thistle and chocolate cosmos,phlox and yellow solidago made this little wild one.
I'm kinda partial to it.

I spent a wonderful morning in Ballina Karen Community Green Garden.
I got to have numerous cuppas,many sweet treats and do a little floristry.
Thank you to this lovely lady pictured for modelling my tied bunch/bridal bouquet with a smile and for permission to post her photo.
Thank you Bridie and all in the garden for the welcome and hospitality.
It was a pure joy to work with your fabulous selection of flowers in such beautiful surroundings.
And the sweet pea I brought home have made the day linger with their scent !
