Over the past number of weeks there have been contestants applying to take on the Kube. The final 40 contestants where confirmed on Saturday 25th January 2014. These contestants are competing for various charities, clubs, organisations, schools, workplaces, businesses and even individuals.

The winner is set to walk away with €4,000 with second place earning €500 and the two beat finalists receiving €250 each. A total of €5,000 in prize money.

The format of the night is slightly different from the game show on TV. The 40 contestants are split into 8 groups with 5 contestants in each group. Two contestants from each group proceed to the quarter finals. these 16 contestants will then taken on the Kube again to reach the semi final. 8 contestants will battle it out in the semi final with 4 contestant progressing to the final.

All the games involved in the Kube are based similar to those on the TV show. We all have opinions watching it on the TV, that this game and that game is easy but it's a lot different when your in the Kube with a few hundred people watching you!!!!

The draw has drawn up some interesting groups, there will be a lot of local eyes on group 5 where MacCumhaills GAA & Glenfinn Gaa have been paired against each other. Never mind the football, this will be the most important fixture for 2014 with a lot of bragging rights up for grabs.

The adult tickets are priced at €20 each with minors being able to pay €10 at the door. Your ticket will grant you admission, free entry to receive spot prizes, music and entertainment after the games have been completed and a chance to win a cash prize by defeating The Kube at the half time interval.

Tickets can be purchased of any club executive member or by contact the Villa Rose Hotel.

Sean mac Cumhaills are delighted to announce the launch of THE KUBE. This is a fundraiser which may be of great benefit to your Club, a Charity you may wish to represent, your business or even as an individual.

On the 1st February our club are holding a fundraiser in the Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey based on the ITV programme, “The Cube” which is hosted by Philip Schofield.

On the night contestants will try to outwit the Kube over a selection of 22 different skills and games. Contestants from Clubs, Charities, Business and individuals from all over the county and beyond will take part, with the winner on the night winning €4,000 and Runner-up Prizes totalling €1000. Entry Fee per contestant is €200. Admission on the night by ticket priced at €20.

This promises to be a unique and unbelievable nights entertainment.
