C.R. Video & DVD Productions Christy Riordan is a documentary filmmaker based in Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry. He has been producing films on a range of subjects for the past 30 years.

His work covers such diverse topics as sports, events, theatre, feature documentaries and historical biographies. His footage has been Featured on Japanese Television, Sky Sports. BBC Sports, RTE 1 & 2, TnaG, and TV3. He's best known for his work in the local community, documenting and archiving every major event to happen in the area for the past 30 years. riend Weeshie Fogarty was the highly acclaimed "Secrets of Kerry: A Captain's Story" which took over three years to produce and broke Christy into the American market. His latest release "The Caseys of Sneem" has received critical acclaim in both Ireland and America as the most conclusive work to date on the legendary Casey family of Sneem.

Not everyone may have heard of Kilkeveragh Pier close to Portmagee but the local community are well aware of the wonderful amenity right on their doorstep.

The popular south Kerry pier, used for swimming, rowing and pleasure fishing, is a vital facility for the local community.

But there are growing fears that the pier, which dates back to the 1800's, may be under-threat.

Rising tides and bad weather have resulted in the pier falling into disrepair and, if works are not undertaken, it is feared it may become submerged.
